Don't u gyus find it with one of the best dramas ever?!!

I agree! It reminded me strongly of Scent of a Woman where they showed the characters at the end. They picked ones where Soo Ha narrates and then there were ones that had dialogues (like Lawyer Cha and MJG, and ones with the OTP). I'd rather have an nicely sewn ending like that than ending it abruptly like somebody going abroad and leaves you clueless.

I just found out about that too. Very interesting! Dream High and IHYV are kinda poles apart.

I gave it a 7. it was good. But the couple had no chemistry. (it would be a little weird if they did). I was totally convinced he loved her but not that he was in love with her. I know that isn't the focus of the drama, but if they are going to end up ###living together###, I would need to see some mutual passion.

I think it's not that they had no chemistry. They did, they had a lot of skinship, cute moments, awkward humiliating ones *(sitting-on-her-lap bus incident)* that were funny. We already know that she likes him from the start as a dongsaeng, a friend and as a man. It'll be weird to see romantic chemistry between them if we treat their relationship as plain noona-dongsaeng/sibling relationship. So I think part of that is how we perceive older women-younger men relationships...but of course I could be wrong and it could be Lee Bo Young being awkward with Lee Jong Suk with their romantic scenes... :P

* * *
My one hang-up is why, even though she loves him, she has this apprehension that the relationship will end someday or rather why would she have to focus on it? Any theories, yeorobun??

I have IHYV hangover. :( I'm kinda hoping there'd be Season 2 but of course that would be too much to hope for. It'd be nice to see how they'd handle cases with Soo Ha as a police officer, and how he and Jang Byun's relationship progress.
I gave it a 9. I really loved this drama, it was not boring and it was good in all aspects (cast/romance/story/ending/..). I don't know why I can't give it a 10... even if it was a great show, I can't call that a "Masterpiece". But it was nicely done !

It's surprising me because I really didn't like Dream High ^^

I wouldn't say they are so different. Main female leads have few things in similar. Also the way the story played out. Main difference is the subject but the essence stayed the same.

Why does she think it will end? That's because he is young and she doesn't want to chain his future. She is after all a realistic woman. That way she is giving him freedom, which he doesn't want to claim, as we have already seen but at the same time I think that uncertainty in her mind is only bringing them more together. Soo Ha said that even if something happens again he will find her again.

There is no chance for season 2.
There is only a chance for remake which usually is a bad copy of original and we don't want that.

Yes, the subject is the difference. Other than passion for what the characters do, Dream High - dealing with youth and love for music and IHYV - with defenders/lawyers/prosecutors and their pursuit of what they think is just, or music and law/art and reason--kinda way apart. Otherwise there are a few faint similarities--I couldn't figure out Hye Mi's and Hye Seong's perhaps >[COLOR="white"]falling for the other guy?<

I appreciate your explanation! I've asked myself a couple of times 'where does she get if from (her anxiety)?' Isn't she as steadfast as Soo Ha? I mean after all that they've been through, surely she would have reached a certain level of trust and security, no?

If there'd be a season 2, I hope the writer will still be the same. DH2 was a mess. And thankfully there are no chances for a remake soon. :P

Both Hye Mi and Hye Seong start almost like antiheroines, both are somewhat selfish and driven, their characters grow throughout the drama but at the same time they stay true to themselves (they don't become weak girls like in other dramas).
I guess writing articles about screenwriters created a habit of analyzing characters and finding similarities.

This writer really has a potential to be one of the best.

Ah yes, they were and yes they did stay stubborn 'til the end! lol And now I see similarities with the second female lead and how one of five senses is used (ears and eyes). Nice analogy!
I'm sorry but I can't get over zis! Q_____Q Ohmilawd, hallelujah for man-boys! Q______Q

yes, yes, Can't move on yet.. I'm glad that towards the end, his ability remained and what's best? Only it's between Hye Sung and him exclusively. Not that Min Joon Gook can't ever reveal it. But it's as if he would have to.

Yes, I know and after making at least two dramas which I adored (the other being Dream High), that had a good build-up plot and a lot of heart I will definitely watch out her dramas, though I'm not so sure about the old ones, anyone seen them, know if they're any good?

Other dramas that she written in collaboration with other writers: Kimchi Cheese Smile, Get Karl! Oh Soo Jung, Stranger than Paradise, Not Alone.

Ohohoho! I love this part. The dongsaeng telling the noona 'how childish' hahahaha!

@ninji: haven't watched any yet but if you ever get to watch the other ones, do tell if they're good! :)
why am i having a hard time finishing this with 2 episodes to go? i went on vacation for a couple of weeks and got behind on all my dramas. this and shark i just cant seem to push through.
luv the AGD cameo in ep 14
So far, I'm on ep. 5 and I love this drama. I like how the whole cast seems to have chemistry and compliment each other well. I even like the minor roles like Kim Kwang Gyu as one the three stooges, I mean the three judges.
