[U]Synopsis:

This drama is about the power struggle between three people in one chaebol empire during the turbulent era of Korean finance in the early 1990s for 20 years.

Jang Tae Joo (Go Soo) is the man who will build up his so-called empire of gold from nothing and raises his little sister on his own after their father dies. He fall in love with Choi Seo Yoon (Lee Yo Won), chaebol heiress. But his biggest rival is her older brother Choi Min Jae (Son Hyun Joo).

No, I don't think it's centered around romance. It's just a side of the story.

Maybe? I am not sure if it's similar to Salaryman though because this one seems more deep.

I've watched the first three episodes, and it's all over the place. There's so much going on that I'm anxious to see how they'll pull it all together.

After 5 épisodes I find it really great!Half of the time,I don't understand what is going on but I don't care. The characters are really good. I don't know which is the good side. i don't think there is one. The hero is not a nice person but he isn't bad either. He is ambitious and is aware of what he is doing. At the beginning he wanted revenge but now that he has done it, he just looove to take risks and he enjoys playing with fire. He wants more. This guy is really smart! The other characters are great too! Nobody is innocent in this drama!

Okay, I am invested in this drama; although not all the characters are good; the majority of them are very well written. I like the main characters and their ways of counter attack. I also like how the storyline jumps from an event to another without the random feel into it.

I love Tae Joo's ambitious and smart character and the way he stand for himself even in the most difficult times of his life..

I started this and even though I am only few episodes in; I like the drama and especially the male lead, he's an intelligent character and I like those characters the most.
