Word needs to get out so others aren't as horribly disappointed as we are. I gave it a 6. I know, I know, 2 eps out and I submit a review but hell we KNOW how this is going to end; the main couple riding off into the sunset with 'LUUURVE IS DER MOMEEEENT' playing in the background. Done.

i didnt have much expectation beyond a slick production with a pretty cast, which it it delivered. i did not expect however, to find it SOOO frustrating. this isnt your normal crappy drama. it feels at times that the production has gone out of it's way to do things that would iratate the audience.
I was thinking, why does everyone dislike the song "Moment" by Changmin, so much? It's like everywhere... people even started to make jokes about it. I find it so funny, that I am actually the only one who enjoys the song. Regarding the drama, I have to make a comparison to Boys over flowers. Both dramas have a lot of characters. But, somehow, I feel that in Heirs, there is little attention paid to the supporting cast. I feel like we get to see just bits of their stories. I have seen just one drama written by Kim Eun Sook - A Gentleman's Dignity, and there were like 4 couples, and each one of their stories was properly delivered. I wonder what might have been wrong this time with the writing?
when the last episode will be aired and subbed?

haha I think its coz of the timing of the song. It pops up everytime when leads disperse, more or less like that moments (-:
I thought its good song too but due to its timing everytime I almost know when that song pops up hehe

I still have one episode left and episode 19 felt eternal and pointless like the rest of the drama. =(

I'm glad I read the whiteout. Now I can prepare myself for it...lol Fighting!
Wasn't great but I found it enjoyable for the most part. Would have preferred less attention to the main couple and more paid to the secondary couples. The secondary characters saved this drama.
Best things about the last episode 1. It was the end. 2. Green owl thingy she had. 3. It was the end!
So...I finished. I guess not everyone will agree with my following rant, but if I can't discuss/say how I feel about a drama honestly on MDL, where can I? XD The only episodes I really felt that Min ho and shin hye should be/are meant to be together were episodes 1 and 2, and then episode 19. Otherwise, it was more that I was being told they should be together instead of being shown why. I didn't feel any chemistry between the two romance wise for the most part. It was more the feeling of friendship or siblings, or Tan acting like he didn't want to give up his new toy. I also didn't like how shin hye turned into a cry baby every time trouble came about or how she let min ho control everything about their relationship whenever they were together. Sure she had a few wity words, but when it came down to it, she acted meek and weak. I just got tired of it after a while. Too cliche. Now...Woo Bin. I really enjoyed him in his role. Ok, he was a little insane and really needs to learn not to take his anger and depression out on everyone around him, but his character was more interesting to me than Min ho's. Woo Bin's character also had some amazing and believable character growth towards the end. You could actually see him maturing and accepting hard truths about himself. I also (don't hit me please) think his acting was better than Min ho's for half the series. I know...I love min ho as much as the next fangirl...but I couldn't stop my eyes from going to woo bin every time he was in a scene. Even though tormenting a girl you like isn't cute even in elementary school, I felt more chemistry between him and shin hye than minho and shin hye. Shin Hye's character really seemed to shine when she had scenes with Woo Bin, and I like the range of emotions she showed with him. Woo Bin also knows how to emote with his eyes extremely well, which is an awesome talent for an actor to have. He's able to do more than just tear up, look angry, or sad. He projects those feelings. When he looks at shin hye you see the love, the hurt and the longing without tears or extra facial emotions. It's all in the eyes. Of course, he cries beautifully too. haha There's a difference between seeing actors say they love each other, and SEEING it in their eyes. When you've seen OTP's that pull off that look, you always notice the difference. *cough* This turned into a fangirling session somehow. XD I apologize. Anyways, while it wasn't a horrendous drama, it wasn't really good in my opinion. It had some great scenes, and I really love the OST and actors, but it fell flat for me in a lot of ways. Maybe I'll try to rewatch it again someday when I can go in without any expectations. Maybe I decided I wouldn't like it before I even started it because of all the hype. Idk. Either way, I hope I didn't offend anyone with what I think. If you loved it or just liked it, you're not wrong. Just different people like different things. I hope to see all the actors in more dramas regardless of how I liked Heirs.
@akumi I agree with everything you wrote. I do think Kim Woo Bin's acting was better than Lee Min Ho a lot of the time…he just seemed more present and invested in giving a good performance. It might also be that his character felt more interesting and amazingly enough was more likable and relatable to me (and I swear I don't condone beating people up in any circumstance.) I think it's just they gave him a believable backstory as an abused boy with deep scars and an inability to form healthy relationships. He came across as deeply troubled and unhappy in his existence who finally he got to a point of catharsis and change, where he realized he'd have to live the rest of his life with the weight of his misdeeds to others. Instead of continuing to live this way he chose to rise above it. That is some interesting conflict! Meanwhile, Tan felt like a cardboard cutout most of the time…the rest of the time he was being a whiny and immature control freak. I agree about the 1st and 2nd episode…back when I still held a little hope that Eun Sang and Tan would be a worthy couple who would be fun to watch. But they ended up being sooo uninteresting together. I also agree Eun Sang was at her liveliest in the scenes with Young Do…otherwise meheahjeballlaahh. I guess I'm mostly just glad it's finally over. I dropped it a few episodes back but the fact that it was still airing meant it was still on my radar. Now I won't ever have to think about Heirs again and I'm happier for it. @Ari_Lee hahahah YES
