One question: did you think BOF is overrated, too? I'd really like to think, that I'm not the only one :D BUT I have to admit, that I have no problem with Heirs. I know that it's nothing special, but I like these kind of stories, and you know the phrase: "There is nothing new under the sun". It all depends on, how they serve it. But I still cannot resist fangirling over LMH :D I'm also not annoyed by Park Shin Hye, as I was by Jan Di, so I consider this as a good show :D
it's hard for me to really say if BOF was over rated or not. it really depends on how seriously the viewer takes it. you also need an understanding of what made the korean drama popular to begin with and just how old the source material is. the manga was 1st published TWENTY ONE years ago and completed it's run 11 years ago. i do think that there are alot of fans out there who take it waaaaay too seriously, treat it like it's high art when it's not. as for Heirs, i dont think it's over rated b/c like BOF it's high ratings have absoutely nothing to do with content, execution or presentation. this drama was highly anticipated for it's hot/popular cast. no one was expecting cinematic genius. in the case of heirs however (unlike BOF) we find it rising slightly above the cliche and cheese in early episodes to be a better production than expected.
I am and I must, watch this drama even if it is high rated, but will watch it because of the cast not because of the plot. the plot sounds so awkward.

I just couldn't agree more. :D ^^
After watching last night's Heirs, I have decided this show would turn from good to completely bad ass if they flipped everything upside down and had our Leading lady fall for Kim Woo Bin's character. He is twisted and bad but their chemistry is really good! Man that would be so awesome.

I want to shake your hand, I completely agree! I love LMH, but I would be very impressed and it would be so much more exciting to see the second lead win for once (: besides, why should the guidelines of Dramaland change NOW:
Good girl: bad boy>nice guy

And it's Kim Woo Bin, his charisma is just oozing through the screen

I am so glad I am not alone in this! I would love a complete bad boy redemption story.. But not completely you understand...I'd still want him to stay a little bad. But wouldn't it be fun to see him fall completely in love and watch her fall to against her better sense? That would be a fun story. sorry LMH. Love ya! but still... too bad it won't happen though. I need to stop thinking about this because it's not going to happen. I'll just enjoy the scenes they do share and try to be content.
well... this is actually the first time that i see the bad boy as a second lead :D Its gonna be interesting to watch the love triangle
jeanie, you are an evil genius, move to korean and write dramas, Pleeeeeeas. jeanie Chaka-nim has such a nice ring to it!

I don't know what it is about him but I just want to see him actually have some redemption and get the girl... totally fantastical fantasy girl set up of the bad boy redeemed. Why do I want this? I don't know. I am almost NEVER a 2nd lead shipper. But he is so deliciously twisty. and he is sooo attracted to her. It is fun to watch. If they would only take it that NEXT step further. Wouldn't that be fun to see? I think it would!

It would be too awesome to be true lol You know how writers crush the second male lead too harshly.

Absolutely my thoughts! (Although I couldn't say it so clearly :D) I forgot to add, that I don't have any problem with BOF (except Jan Di).

I'm starting to want it so bad I don't know if I'm going to like what actually is going to happen. LOL! But you know me. That will probably change tomorrow if LMH does something awesome. ;)

I still miss The General.
i like how i'm not hating the typical evil parents or at least not yet Tan's mom is rather enjoyable to watch
