I recently found out that the Korean Film Festival Canada will be fully online this year. The theme is Narratives Beyond Borders: The Korean New Wave Cinema by Women Directors (1950-2020). This is an opportunity to watch Korean films from anywhere around the globe.
It showcases films, shorts, documentaries, and more, all from the perspective of Korean Female Directors.
The event takes place from October 30 to November 30, 2020. Tickets are now available on their site. All proceeds for the event will be donated to organizations such as Fondation des Artistes and Women in Film Korea to help artists and filmmakers during the pandemic.
