THis drama looks good.

@Lis go to the Cpop thread..............
I'm just loving this drama so far...Jung Il Woo plays such an assy little boy. I can't wait for him to get his comeuppance! Please Drama Gods...Make him fall hard! <3
So, I'm watching Episode 4, just minding my own business and at about minute 9:30 the song "I Wanna Be A Billionaire" by Travie McCoy begins playing at the coffee shop where Eun Bi is having her breakfast. And Travie...that little scamp...drops the F-Bomb the 7th word into the song! Now, mind you, I happen to like the F Bomb. Phonetically it is a powerful word that, when employed correctly, can give some real weight to what you are saying. So many uses for the F-Bomb! It has a bad rap. ...Best Dirty Word Ever.

But it struck me as funny that it wasn't edited out. Why? Was it simply that this is a cable program? (I'm not sure about this because I've seen this happen before in another drama which I highly doubt was cable) Was it not edited out because while in America it's super dirty; in Korea the F-Bomb is not viewed as a very bad curse word? ...They have worse words they consider more filthy?

Help me out here...I need some dwellers from 'across the pond' to verify this theory. Sometimes our filthy slang doesn't always translate to filthy somewhere else.

BTW...I am loving this show with each passing episode.
Haha I don't understand why it wasn't edited out either. I mean you'd think it would be because it was playing in a public place. It could be because it's not as big of a deal over there, but I really don't know haha.

I'm liking this show more and more with each episode (:
No idea why it wasn't edited out....I find it funny with all the censorship craze they have over there over songs that just mention clubs (and other stuff).

And yes, I'm loving this drama. I loved when in ep. 4 she played him like he always plays women...

i have heard from several asian friends ( cambodian and chinese) that in asia they know that the f-bomb is a cuss word but dont realize just how bad it is. if you think about it, kinda makes sense. when watching subbed korean tv shows the word "aigoo" is translated as "damn" at worst, you watch a subbed korean movie and it's translated as the f-bomb, which seems to suggest that the severity of the swear has less to do with the word itself and more to do with maybe tone or situation.

Thanks for answering. I thought this might be the case. It's just funny to hear it in a drama and knowing how Korean censors are about most things, as an American with a full understanding of that word, hearing it unbleeped in a song or speech jolted me. Then after I laughed it made me wonder.
I just finished episode 4 and I am loving this show.. I haven't had so many WTF? moments in a long time as well as laughing so so much.. But, waiting for subs is gonna kill me.. Are there any other drama's like this one out there?

Watch Biscuit Teacher & Star Candy...Similar...very good..Gong Yoo! It is one of my favorites.
thoroughly enjoying this drama but i'm going to put it on hold till it's complete since the wait has been pretttttty painful hahaha
Kinda similar like in Mary Stayed Out All Night with 2 men. 1 match from father to be her husband. The other which met accidentally.

But i love this so hilarious. After seen ep.5 The husband to be is staying in the house with her approved. ㅋㅋㅋ :D
I'm watching episode 5 and just had to come here and post how funny it has been...

There's a scene when she was eating ramen Mr. Hot-Body-Giant made and she literally --moaned--, I just had to laugh....

I'm also loving the noona-dongsaeng dynamic between "Crazy Rooster" and Eun Bi. <3

I love the pool scene with Cha Chi Soo too.
L'amour!

*dugeun...dugeun*

I don't know why but I still don't like very much this drama because it's quite ordinary but I can't stop watching it. :D
