I think I am going to re-watch the first 6 eps while I wait for next week.. There is just something about this drama that makes me all kinds of happy...

Agree...I might do the same thing.
Hi all,
I love this drama, I have read thru the thread and am enjoying the thoughts and discussions towards the drama,
Hopefully after the next few episodes I can join in a little bit more too!!

The final scene of Ep6 was heartbreaking, but Cha Chi Soo totally turned it around for himself.
I am totally loving this drama, and probably going to rewatch, just to make sure I have understood every last detail.

See ya later!!

BlueCrystal, I agree with you about the final scene of ep 6. I felt so sad for him. There is such a big misunderstanding between them. Granted, it really is his fault for being so uber jerky, but still, the expression on his face wrenched my heart...and then he pulled out his trademark smart arse personality and wink and I thought...He's going to be just fine!

Definitely come back and comment / discuss with us! This show is so fun!
Jung Il-woo sings a track for Ramyun Shop OST
http://www.dramabeans.com/2011/11/jung-il-woo-sings-a-track-for-for-ramyun-shop-ost/

The song isnâ??t released yet, but Jung Il-woo will be featured on the upcoming Flower Boy Ramyun Shop OST with the title track on its Part 3, â??Someone Like Youâ? (너란 사람).
The song will be a warm ballad thatâ??ll accompany Eun-biâ??s (Lee Chun-ah) growing feelings as she starts to see more of Chi-sooâ??s childlike sincerity. Jung also contributed a track to the soundtrack of his last drama, 49 Days. Heâ??s reportedly working himself ragged with all-night shoots, song recording, and cameo appearance filming.

Jungâ??s track releases on the 24th.
Episode 7 had some funny moments but it felt more like a set up episode. 6 was the coming together of the characters who will work at the FBRS but this one was focused more on Chi Soo and Eun Bi. The whole opening where they were supposed to be fixing up the shop was so funny. Chi Soo and his Jaunty Hard Hat...and Mr. Sleepyhead sleeping on the paint roller! what a motley crew.

I am more looking forward to episode 8 due to the events in the last few moments of this episode. And Jung Il Woo still kills me with his facial expressions. I want to believe that Cha Chi Soo deserves everything he gets but I end up having so much sympathy for him. again, Jung Il Woo is really great in this drama. He just steals every scene.

p.s...Sorry Girl...I still want to kick you.

I still want to kick the little teenage witch too. She needs to stop being the way she is...Now that I've gotten my comment about her out of the way...

Jung Il Woo, like Jeanie mentioned, really does steal every scene. I felt sorry for him because the more he tried to help his friends, the more misunderstandings it created and everyone kind of gangs up on him. I somehow I always end up telling him "Don't worry noona is here!". But ironically everything seems to turn around for him and he gets the upper hand which just makes me laugh like a madwoman....
Like in the last scene...jejeje

About his work ensemble... I had to pause and tell Jeanie "What the hell is is he wearing?" but laughed all the while this includes the way he wore the construction hat.

I'm patiently waiting for episode eight to be subbed, but I'm also looking forward how this new event and arrangement will be played out.

Some screenshots...

honey and pretty baby haha i love this drama cant wait for ep 8 :)
I just love it that Cha Chi Soo thinks he's physically hurting and that his cure is to look at Eun Bi. He actually believes that, despite what Hyun Woo tells him. I love Hyun Woo, by the way. He's totally his own person, and doesn't care what the others think.
FBRS ~ Show...you are the bomb!! I can't believe there are some people not watching you!? What is up with that? <3

tvN's Monday/Tuesday drama, "Flower Boy Ramyun Shop," has set a record in export price to Japan for a cable TV drama.
On November 23, CJ E&M stated that Japanese content distributing company CCC has bought televising rights and DVD publication rights to the drama. Each episode has been exported and sold for approximately $100,000 USD.
Contents distributor SPO previously bought broadcasting and publication rights to tvN's romantic comedy "I Need Romance." It is the first cable drama to be bought and is set to air in Japan. The drama is to air in January.
OCN drama, "Vampire Detective" starring Yeon Jung Hoon, has also been sold to a distributing company and will air during the first half of the year.
CJ E&M stated, "Through a knowhow in production and strategic marketing, CJ E&M dramas have been receiving a lot of love and attention. As a result of our popularity in the domestic market, our overseas popularity has also increased and we have been able to branch out to international markets. We plan to do our best in expanding and making the best out of this growth."
Ahhh I love you mr. Giant but why did you do that :(
