I think it is the sister I don't know why but gut feelings so maybe she found her sister was doing drugs  and s3x multiply times and even had an abortion so she didn't want the public to find it out because she doesn't want her image to be ruined so she tried to talk to jane out but she wasn't listening so she did what she would to shut things up and killed jane and acted like she cares so she would be unsuspected i think because I have watched something where the murder was acting like jane's sister or maybe she was jealous because her sister was getting attention from lots of people while she wasn't getting any and in murder mysteries its normally the person you don't suspect  but hats just what I think

How did Rung get access to medication that is controlled? Someone in the hospital or pharmacy would have given it to her, if we are to believe she killed Peud. I still think someone else is involved that has medical knowledge and it is obvious that it is a MAN...so....it will be interesting to see if we are all right to suspect Oat.

Totally agree.

It’s really amazing how well they’ve stuck to the novel and yet still keep us guessing at this point.

That said, I think she did kill Pued ‘directly“ (based on her car being in the scene of the crime and with her having Pued’s phone), but she and someone else still killed Jane.

I know that in the book, her prime motivation for killing Pued was that she was afraid he would snitch on the two of them killing Jane.

But so far, on the show, it doesn’t seem like they’re setting Pued up to be one of Jane’s killers. So IF they don’t make Pued one of Jane’s killers on the show, then Rungthiva’s motivation for killing him is still in question. It could still be jealousy or bitterness over his relationship with Jane, but I feel with how this show has set the narrative up, it might be something else.

And if so, then who would be Rungthiva’s accomplice? Oat is really looking like a prime candidate, even if he seemed to be having a hard time finding Pued’s records; he could just be pretending in front of Fai. He may have even been the one to hide the records. Even if Rungthiva were the mastermind and knew Pued’s disease, I doubt she would have access to all the medical records and files, so it still looks like an inside job.

And what would Rungthiva’s motivation to kill Jane? I’m sure jealousy played a part of it, but just like in the novel, I feel it wasn’t just about the relationship between Jane and Pued. I think Jane was about to be a whistleblower. Out of spite, Rungthiva might even have been the one to pimp her sister to the congressman while manipulating Pued to do so.

So agree with you @allancarreon

OMG Am I the only one who do not care about the crimes ,just want to see Doc. Bun and Teacher Tan have sex!!!!

I agree with allancarreon the only motive would be jealousy but it looks like she killed her ex cause he dated her sister a couple of months after her and thought he was related to the murder so he was trying to talk with him about her sister death but he wouldn't budge so she killed him but doesn't explain why she had the drug or maybe she had it with her cause she was part of the drug trafficking and she might and been so angry she did the most the only thing she thought of but then who killed Jane but  if oat is involved why would he kill Jane it doesn't look like they even know of each other

i’m suspicious of a lot of people ngl, but rung us acting shady af

Allan, I went back to re-watch the scenes with Oat in them. I watched his expressions and mannerisms. I believe you have been correct all along and especially after episode 11. I still think there is one more player in the game, just have not quite figured out who it is yet.

Yes, especially that autopsy they did of Natty. Oat was spacing out. It’s a small thing, but I don’t think the director is the type to put in such details without it signifying something.

I have a feeling the man in the mask is the other police officer and that he will leak information about Inspector M's plan to them.

I am pretty sure  the man in the mask is the officer that is with the commander all the time. If you look at his eyes, it is his giveaway.  Just an idea.

*Spoilers of up to ep 11*

So, it looks like Rungtiva murdered Peud. It strikes me as odd that she would also have killed Jane. What would her motive be? Why would she have insisted that the investigation continue, to Tung? If she, and a probable accomplice killed Jane, she should have been content that the police were looking to declare the matter a suicide and close the case. She might have feigned interest to Bun to glean what he knew, but why then also help get Tan out of jail, later? As it stands she seems to have some sort of scruples in that she didn't allow Tan to  take the fall for her. I suspect that she's somehow tied up with Tung and the Congressman with the trafficking but Ep 11 seems a bit early for Jane's ultimate killer to be revealed

I understand that, in the book, it was Rungtiva and Peud who killed Jane but is the series taking us in another direction? Any thoughts on this?

Allan, a thought occurred to me; I wonder if Oat is related to either the Mayor or the Commander? I feel like Oat is involved with or related to Rungtiva.  I think I am starting to pull it all together now.

This occurred to me also and is a possibility. Probably more on the congressman. The congressman isn’t in the book just like Oat, so perhaps they were both created for the series. Probably not a “direct” son (otherwise, it would already have been known that Oat is his son since the congressman is high-profile, unless it’s a Tan situation where his family ties to Por/Pued/Odd aren’t well-known because he’s an illegitimate child).

(Commander Tung is in the book though I can’t recall if he had a name, but definitely Aem had a superior who was corrupt and whom he replaces in the end when the superior is caught for corruption and Aem gets promoted.)

There is an important part of the puzzle missing. I need to go back and watch a few things again.   Oat is to old to be Rungtiva's son or he is her & Jane's secret brother like you mentioned with the Tan situation.
