Newcomer to Asian dramas. Looking for recommedation!

Dear Community,

I would say that I'm "kinda" new to the Drama side. Watched only 3 or 4 of them in my lifetime but now I got a kick and want to explore more!

That's why my Drama list is low ^^ check it out what I finished.

So I'm looking forK-Drama (Just Korean please).

1. Romance K-Drama

I'm looking for a good I really mean a good story one. If possible it should be a School/University setting (But I can overlook that), I don't care if it's a Female or Male lead. And the last thing about it is that it should have a Happy End if finished (The Main characters are/stay together).

I really love the character Jang Hee-soo from the Series called Moving (Simple look). Her beauty is really something

Cheer Up - fair warning, a lot of viewers dislike it because of a love triangle thing. To me the love triangle was not even strong. Also there’s a mystery, so if you only want romance, then it’s a no.

Rookie Cops - also has a crime plot, but the romance was so good to me. (The crime plot wasn’t that great but it was still worth my time just for the romance).

Do you like Brahms? - the opposite of the previous dramas, this one is a calm melo with lots of feelings. (And the characters are older, but still university setting as one is a master‘s student).

Semantic Error - I couldn’t understand if you said you didn’t mind if the leads were both male but in case you are open to it, this is BL, and it’s just such a cute romance.

The OP specifically said "So I'm looking forK-Drama (Just Korean please). " why ignore their very explicit request. That is not being helpful or courteous. It's being rude by saying "I know you specifically asked for something, but I'm going to ignore you and give you something I want to give you, even though you told me you didn't want it" The OP's preferencxes should be more important than yours, your post shows you consider your wishes more important than theirs

The Girl Who Sees Scents- Not a university drama, but if you're looking for a good storyline with mystery, a cute romance and happy ending, I recommend.

Best Mistake- Highschool youth drama. It's a web series, so you can probably finish it in a day. It's not the most interesting show, but if you're looking for a youth/ university drama, here ya go. Season 3 they're in University I believe.

Who are You: School 2015- The "School" series are pretty good. This one I got 2nd lead syndrome, so if you're not up to that I'd skip over this one.

School 2021- This is is another "School" series. It wasn't my personal fav, but some really enjoy this one.

Be My Boyfriend- Another Highschool youth drama. Again, not the most amazing plot. But a cute watch if you don't have anything else.

The Liar and His Lover- FL is in school, ML is a famous producer, cute overall watch.

The Uncanny Counter- Not really a school/university drama, but the ML is in high school. It's not a romance, but has an amazingggg plot. I loved it. Definitely worth your time.

Moorim School- School drama, but the school is like a "fighting/magic" school? It's good, keeps you engaged, and the leads have a happy ending.
