The story is about two girls from different family background (assume the girls names are A and B). So A mother came to B family asking for help (I think so). What I remember was that A mother gave birth to A at B's house and B's mother was also giving birth to B at the same time. A mother died and A lives with B family thinking she was part of the family.
B was smarter compare to A and as they grew up, A original family came to reclaim her. For some reason, B mother told the family that B was her adopted daughter and A was her daughter. Also, B has a younger twin brothers that A had to take care. forgot to mention, A original family was loaded rich and B's family was poor so A had to take care the farm (i think) and the household including the twin brothers while B lived happily with her new family.
