I like mostly rom-coms/slice of life dramas so if you are into this genre check some of them!

Reply 1997, Reply 1988 (dramas of the reply series can be watched as a standalone because the dramas have similar/same theme but different characters. skip 1994 version though, it is the weakest of the series)

Weightlifting fairy Kim Bok Joo

Age of Youth (AoY has really realistic yet unrealistic story. AND a fantastic soundtrack)

Sunny (- movie)

Avengers Social Club (revenge comedy drama with more serious undertones)

Moon Lovers: Scarlett Heart Ryeo (my first historical drama - easy to watch and introduces you the genre of korean historical dramas well. for me, historical dramas were quite intimidating because they are very long so this was nice introduction i think)

Page Turner (a short drama special)

Marriage not Dating (really fun drama imo)

Chicago Typewriter (has quite original story, nice soundtrack and iconic friendship between main characters)

not romcoms:

Liar Game (jap. version. really intriguing drama)

Hello Monster (aka. I remember you) (if you like american show the Mentalist, i think this one has similar vibe)

Some really good recommendations already. A couple that haven't been said:

Cruel City (Korean)

City Hall (Korean

Go Princess Go (Chinese, very funny)

Cambrian Period (Chinese)

Hanazakari no Kimitachi e (the original Japanese version ... the others are not a patch on this)

Sealed with a Kiss (Chinese - not everyone's cup of tea as it contains domestic violence/rape. If you can see past that and watch the story, it's brilliant and very well made.

Marriage Contract (Korean - get the tissues ready, very well done but super sad)

Hana Yori Dango/Boys over flowers (Japanese/Korean - both the same story. If you want to watch dramas, it's probably the one show that 99.9% of people have watched at least once. I preferred the J version more but it's personal preference.

Nodame Cantabile - A personal favourite of mine. I love classical music so i loved this one. It was actually my first ever J drama that i watched and the one that got me hooked on dramas full stop.

Full House (Any version and there are many. The Thai version is usually the one that most people would recommend and undoubtedly has the best chemistry)

Fated to Love you (again any version of it. The Taiwanese version is the most liked. I've watching the Thai version at the minute and it's also very good)
