what drama/movie/anime have you watched that had you glued to your seat in anticipation half the time and pausing to scream internally all around the house bc it hit you with the Plot Twist™ the rest? The kind where protagonist keeps making stupid ass decisions which may or may not cause him/her to lose their life, property, and/or a hell lot of money while you scream in frustration helplessly at the screen bc omfg that dumbass. I'm talking stuff like death note where the tension made me feel like I was on a tightrope made of a thin strand of my greatgrandma's hair or in liar game where let's face it where akiyama was a total badass and matsuda shota was perfect casting or even mirai nikki (the anime) or eden of the east (it still makes me feel like I'm back in 2010)or even Tokyo ghoul (but pls oshiete no tragedy...unless the soundtrack is just as or even more beautiful bless)
so basically the mc should be a totally magnificent piece of shit genius who has a plan for literally any and every outcome thrown at him
