So around 4 months ago i stumbled Nirvana in Fire and binged it for 1 week, it was my first Asian Drama and i loved it.

And now i just finished Six Flying Dragons, like literally just now... around 5-6 minutes ago. I found it because i was trying to find another great drama similar to NiF. It was also great but NiF still much better imo.

Any other drama like those 2? I don't care if its Korean, Chinese or Japanese.

Thank you in advance.

Six Flying Dragons is one of my top 2 favorites.  I have tried watching NiF a few times, only getting about 10mins in each time.  It's not a matter of not getting into the story, obviously, I just couldn't get into the ML.  I feel like I'm really missing out on something, as a lot of people consider it one of the best.  Don't know what to do about that.  D:

As for other dramas similar, I loved Tribes and Empires.  It was so good throughout.  But a warning, the series ends amazingly, but it is very much set up for following seasons, which will never happen. I don't regret watching it at all, I'll actually probably re-watch it at some point, but that was a total bummer for me, took me many days to get over.

I also loved Lost Love in Times and Scarlet Heart Ryeo.  A couple of my favorites as well.  I feel like they are less political than all the previous mentioned.  Princess Agents was a very fun one to watch as well (other than all the fricken cgi animals).

I just realized that 3 out of the 4 I mentioned, have a supernatural/fantasy aspect to it.  Just wanted to mention that, in case you are not interested in that genre.  I personally would never go out of my way to watch that sort of drama myself, but I ended up loving these.

The Princess's man

Rebel who stole the ppl

I recommend A Tree with Deep Roots, another drama made by the creators of Six Flying Dragons. It's made in 2011 so the production value is noticeably lower than SFD (or NiF), and it does have some pacing issues in its last third episodes, but the story itself was great. After all, it's not everyday that you get a drama that adresses the relationship between literacy and power :)

Have you tried the NIF sequel?

Also you may want to consider: https://mydramalist.com/23728-secrets-of-three-kingdoms

Which is lightly more fluff but still enjoyable IMO.

+1 Rebel Who Stole the People

If you like strategy then Jackpot is good (just take a deep breath to get through the first 4 eps which have far far too much crying)

No i haven't, because i had no idea there is sequel for NiF. I'm going to watch it now.

After seeing the rating on 3 kingdoms, i will try to watch it after NiF 2. Thank you.
