Drama where the female lead dies or nearly dies?

So does anyone know any dramas where the female lead dies in the end, nearly dies, or gets into some critical state or something? some really dramatic scene where the guy comes to the rescue.

I know this is weird. But please don't suggest any where the male lead dies, only female. And no movies. 

It can be from any country and any genre.
