I want drama recommendation where male lead is just friends with female lead, she's in love with him from the very start, but he likes her sister instead.

Or it doesn't matter if they are not even friends with each other. Just acquaintances also works fine with me.

It's fine if him and her sister are even dating.

Also, when he's wooing her sister around, they accidentally kiss or he gets drunk up because of her sister and ends up kissing her instead. As a drunken mistake maybe.

I want some good angst to feel in the drama, of female's unrequited love.

I'm literally bored to death seeing only male's unrequited love in dramas.

I know it's hard to recommend me seeing the plot, I don't even know if such dramas exist or not lol but still, I'm gonna trust you guys anyway!

Drama like my taste: Second Couple of My Golden Life.

Second Couple of my seyoung.

Wedding (though with different plot, it has almost exact same love triangle that I love!)

I was looking for something similar to what you are asking for and I came across The Secret Life of My Secretary. I went to check whether you have seen or not, but then I noticed your tiny profile picture. haha.

There is, not exactly, but a storyline that is similar to your description with the second couple in Reply 1988.

This is risky to recommend, because the story is just crazy-frustrating, in a good way. (To me at least.) In the crazy, melodramatic Bad Guy, the relationship between the ML and the sister  is full of thrill. Anyways, the story is full of angst and  it is a revenge that is all over the place, so this might or might not be what you are looking for.

Ah. I have seen a number of dramas, but this is the closest I can match with your interesting request. I hope you find the drama you are looking for. Happy watching!

P.S. I loved the second couple in My Golden Life

A Poem a Day fits for wanting to see a FL being in unrequited love & pining.

Shining Inheritance has the ML dating the FL's sister in the beginning.

Jark Sadtroo Soo Huajai this is my favorite lakorn Hope you enjoy lol and if you have more stories don’t shy away from telling me since I love this plotline lol

Cruel City exactly what you want +real anti hero ML, GREAT GREAT drama, very unpredictable, in every episode there was something mind blowing, mature romance where sex isn't tabo, also there is amazing bromance and many amazing other things, MUST SEE

A Love To Kill  but here FL loved/dated brother first, very emotional and sad story

Hit the Top again FL and 2 MLs, but without spoiler can't say more, it's funny and fresh story, you will enjoy

I confirm #NISkywalker. This is one of the best recommendations. I am wondering why Kdrama lacks this kind of topics including compilated relationships, threesome relations, and taboos

thank you!

yes, there are subjects which you'll never see or just a little in kdramas, which is annoyng

also same cliches... I'm so tired, for example "never been kissed, never had Bf girls, even when they are 30+

also even if he already is Bf she should always be shy and against good kiss, not to say sex

and so many other tabos.

but there are some really high level and taboo free dramas to, at list much free, I'll mention few of them:

as I said - "Cruel city"

Flower of Evil

It's Okay to Not Be Okay

Memories of the Alhambra

Love Affairs in the Afternoon

Nine: Nine Times Time Travel

The Smile Has Left Your Eyes

Hello Monster

Kill It

Thaks oopa.

You are totally right. I like more mature themes and more niche genres like Extracurricular or My Mister .  (Can you recommend more?)

Cruel City was one of the best. However, I couldn't see any taboo or highlighted feature in Its ok to Not be ok. Memories of Alhamra was a fantasy and good drama but not my piece of cake.

Love affairs in the afternoon and Married Life were two series that I really enjoyed. (I love complicated relationships and cheating themes). Maybe I can mention V.I.P  and Misty, as well as the movie named  My Wife Got Married

However, if you have more suggestions, I will be happy to know them.

I haven't seen these, nor V.I.P  and Misty but I already know that I like your taste, so I'll try, thanks.
if you haven't seen Flower of Evil  you really should try, I haven't seen best acting in any drama, mature romance and so deep understanding person you love... really great show

also Hello Monster  with complex characters and relationships, romance isn't good but also not important, I skipped some police/investigation parts too, but there are 2 villains, very unusually treated, not black/white, you (and ML) see them as humans though they are serial killers, also there is bromance so emotional that I can't forget... I can't say more without spoilers, but this drama has story lines, that you wont forget.

in Nine: Nine Times Time Travel  I liked romance (story also is really good), because it's not usual, girl loves ML so much, for years, she is after him in every life (time travel and kind of paralel lifes), was really some different and good.

Reply 1988 has it's very own charme, nostalgy of youth, positive, nice loveble characters and realistic love triangle, where the guy after loosing confess to himself, that there's noone to blame, not fate, not destiny, he just hasn't enough caurage and will and other guy had. Love isn't always destined and at first look, we make small and big decisions which brings us to someone or somewhere. it was so fresh view, not usual in dramas.

there are other good dramas too which I like, so hope we will exchange suggestions in future too ^_^

me too )))

so on cheating subject: Before We Get Married about 2 not single people with very strong attraction to each other, When A Man's in Love (not so good as drama, but cheating and complicated theme, also sexy scenes made me complete with skipping) The Innocent Man  cheating, complications, betrayel and revenge)

especially I love romances when there are some big walls between couple, something that makes love forbidden, not easily possible. if you like this too, here some dramas:

I Hear Your Voice  (age gap)

The King in Love  (triangle with close dear friend)

A Love To Kill  (she is target of his revenge, because she was his brothers loved one and because of her brother killed himself)

Lucifer (he is "big bed" guy whos masterpeace revenge plan works and police can't stop/catch him, and girl is helping to the detective whos after him)

Nine: Nine Times Time Travel (can't say what tabo is between them without heavy spoiler)

Kill It (he is contract killer, she is detective)

Secret (she was reason to death of his fiance)
