Hello everyone :) I am looking for dramas like Stranger, The Guardians, Vagabond, The Fiery Priest, Cruel City etc where ML and FL help together to solve the crime and they have affection/care for each other but not full on romance (platonic relationship/slight romance hint is ok).

And if ML is quite introverted too that would be a bonus but it's not priority. Thanks :)

Maybe Bad Guys - I'm not sure this one really has a FL. There is one major female character, but I remember it focusing more on the male characters.

Two weeks (2013) - its been quite a while since Ive seen it but I don't think it has much romance if any at all.

D-Day (2015) - Also haven't watched this in awhile, but I liked it. It had ML and FL working together. (more natural disaster thriller than detective thriller.)

Vampire Prosecutor(2011) - Also been awhile I thought it was pretty good and interesting how they solved crimes(cause he's a vampire) FL does like him but its not a main thing.

Tunnel (2017) - this one the ML gets married in like the first episode so its not that big of a deal. Detective show that also has time travel.

You're all surrounded (2014)- Detective show with both ML and FL that work together. more than one ML. (I don't think there was a lot(some I think) of romance,  but I'm pretty sure there was bromance.)

S.C.I (2018)- If you watch Chinese dramas. based off of a BL(boys love) novel so no big romance with FL but also not BL(china restrictions).

Voice (2017) - There are three seasons of this now so if you like a series this is a good option. If not then I suggest only watching season 1.

The Good detective (2020) - I'm watching it now so I can't fully comment how much I like it or not. But so far the Romance is only hinted.

And now I realize how old most of these are and I feel like a dinosaur but I hope you like at least one of these suggestions!

+1 Two Weeks - I have watched it recently and can confirm there is no romance (at least up to where I stopped at episode 11).

Maybe Target Person- I'm not sure this one really has a FL. There is one major female character, but it focuses more on the male characters.

Thank you for the suggestion. I haven't seen this, will put this drama in my "to-watch" list.

Thank you for the suggestion :) will look into it.

@darkblueowl Thank you for this list. I have seen all the dramas except "Two weeks", will give it a watch :) and yes i feel like these days these sort of dramas aren't made much like it was 5 or 6 years ago :(

 - Signal
- Watcher
- Nobody Knows

These three are perfection when it comes to thrillers/crime dramas that leave you glued on the screen for the whole 16 episodes. They are absolutely amazing. And the best part: they are not predictable at all.

Memorise - Perfect partnership and no romance.

Tell Me What You Saw - they don't start off too well, but they grow to collaborate

Psychopath diary - I think their relationship is what you are looking for, but it is more on the comedy side

The lies within - they end up helping eachother a lot for the same "goal"

Memorist - they also don't start on a good note

  • Voice
  • Tunnel
  • Bad guys
  • The Guest
  • Memorist
  • Tell me what you saw
  • Kill it

Detective L - chinese drama but it totally fits all your requirements

- “Signal”

- “Live”

Signal is based on detectives while Live is based on police.
