Hi there! I'm looking for dramas with great bromances, preferably korean dramas, were they go through hard times and help each other, they don`t need to always have a good relationship.

the ones that weren`t my taste ( shut up flower boy band, replay 1988, my mister)  they are about group of friends, brothers some thing like, and goblin it was too fun and bright for my taste of bromance.

the ones I liked and recommend:

hello monster

revolutionary love

sassy go go

school 2013

can you hear my heart

he is psychometric

Thanks a lot in advance!

These are the ones that came to my mind while reading your post. Hope it helps! ^^

On the heavier/darker side:

  1. Tale of the Nine-Tailed
  2. While You Were Sleeping
  3. It's Okay to Not Be Okay
  4. Prison Playbook
  5. Bad Guys
  6. Mad Dog
  7. Memorist

On the lighter/fluffier side:

  1. Another Miss Oh
  2. I'm Not a Robot
  3. Strong Woman Do Bong Soon
  4. Kill Me, Heal Me
  5. Clean With Passion For Now
  6. Chief Kim
  7. Man to Man

My Country: The New Age is a historical drama with great bromance, and it's pretty dark. Seo Hwi and Nam Seon Ho have a pretty volatile relationship. Their love for each other is obvious but due to certain circumstances they become enemies and throughout the show they keep backstabbing and at the same time helping and saving each other. It's one of my favorite bromance relationships ever.

Hello monster and School 2013 were definitions of Bromance <3

I agree, that group friendship is something different but in "Shut up" I see it as ML & dead guy (forgot names but they both are great) bromance and Reply 1988 is amazing as drama. I also don't love when friendship (which is in every drama), which doesn't make you fill emotional, is listed as Bromance.

except already listed, emotional deep Bromance which comes first in mind is The King in Love  if you watch historicals too. it's really amazing and beautiful drama, great acting and cinematography, great emotional romance and amazing bromance, where one is ready to sacrifice himself for another, bond is soo deep that he feels like another.

Same deep connection and loving another so much to sacrifice himself is Cruel City and also mind blowing , great drama, it's really must watch, there are maybe 2-3 dramas like this, unpredictable, without cliche and perfect in every aspect.

also different and good drama Save Me there is bromance, good one, but not on the level of Hello monster, School 2013, Cruel City or King in love.

The Great Seducer  - is very deep and even strange friendship between 2 boys and 1 girl, bromance between boys, then other girl (FL) comes and kind of ruins this group. this drama has something different and interesting, modern story of "cruel intentions" with Gossip Girl vibe.

Moorim School  isn't great as drama, but good cast, bromance is on/off, enemies/friends kind

Lucifer as for drama it was great, emotional, very unusual, great romance (not standart, but good girl loves bad boy even though she knows he is bad). Bromance is also unusual, most of the show they are enemies, but this complex relationship develops to understanding to each other and even respect and at the and you can say it's bromance (not happy ending)

we have a quite similar taste!

Save Me  was a really good drama not a lot of bromance and Moorim School was a good bromance and bad drama.

as for The Great Seducer  I dropped it, couldn't take the fact that their friendship fall apart.

I'm gonna check the other ones, starting with The King in Love  it really sounds promising.

thanks a lot.

100% agree!
Btw, I dropped seducer for same reason, romance wasn't good and it ruined what was good in this show.

King in love and Cruel city are really great shows with great bromances, Lucifer is old and not so great quality (you can skip some parts) but Lucifer and his story is very emotional, and not bromance, more enemies who at the end understand each other, romance and soundtrack is great too

The Movie The King and the Clown sometimes know as The King's Man is an oldie but goldie.  Its got an LGBTQ+ tag so maybe just beyond bromance in parts.  Coffee Prince is probably as fun and bright as goblin.  Its a lot like Clean With Passion For Now.

though I love bromances and think that love between men doesn't mean gay vibes, in school 2013 I also thought there was LGBT meaning too, they were too intimate (it was so sweet <3 )

 Phoenix:
starting with The King in Love

it's slow burn romance, unpredictable romance ))) and bromance is also more and more shown. though in cruel city bromance is more strong, I don't know, I love both but as drama and maybe as bromance too, Cruel city is best

Just a little worried about the ending

I'll check cruel city next, thanks again!

I'm so glad... I loved that all characters are interesting, even bad guy has his logic (political stuff about  Yuan). both boys have their own charisma, I loved them both, but I couldn't love Rin more, he is so kind, self sacrificing, loyal and gentleman, and sadness in his eyes, there are always sadness in him...
don't warry, ending is nice and good.

Cruel City (heartless city is other name) is more dark and heartless, with tension and twists, but it's too good :D
