The lead or leads have something they want to protect with their lives, meanwhile their friends or family only sees it as something negative or immoral and thinks that by removing it they're helping them.
Like, I'd love something that makes the viewer conflicted and can see both sides.
Like for example, an abusive husband, the wife knows why he is that way and where it comes from and understands him and wants to help him, yet others(familt/friends) only sees "abusive husband".
Or like, the lead/s pet is an endangered spices and loves it like a family member, yet society/family/friends only sees an animal classified as endangered.
Or like, theres a friendship between a much older guy and girl, yet society/family/friends can only see the age and gender difference and not their true friendship.
