Lie After Lie - Fl gives birth to a girl in prison. Ml adopts that girl. So the drama is about the fl as she gets out of prison she tracks her daughter down to try and reinsert herself into her daughter's life. There are many scenes of the ml with his daughter every single episode.

Kairos - Is about a man whose daughter is kidnapped and murdered. But he manages to get in contact with a woman from a month prior and enlists her help to try and stop the kidnapping before it even happened. In the beginning the ml is a slightly cold father, but as the drama progresses and he realizes what he's about to lose, he becomes way more loving.

Flower of Evil - The ml has a daughter who he loves more than anything else in the world.

- prefer if the shows are relatively new or recent because i feel like ive seen most shows before 2017 that have some sort of father daughter relationship

Encounter from 2018. The FL's father is not a main character, their relationship definitely is not the main focus of the drama, and I wouldn't call their relationship "cute", but I did enjoy it.  At first it seems like the FL and her father should have a strained relationship as much of the FL's life was determined by her father's position as a politician, but over the course of the drama it becomes clear that they both care a lot about each other. He regretted the role he played in hurting her in the past / impacting the type of life she could lead, encouraged her to follow her heart going forward, and took steps on his part to do the right thing.
