Bromance -centered dramas are my fav type but I watch and can only rec some historicals:
- Worrier Baek Dong Soo (kdrama)- epic but tragic bromance, totally forgetable romance on the side, interesting mentor- mentee relationships and strong chosen family theme
- My Country New Age (kdrama)- super angsty and dramatic bromance ( the main relationship), strong multi-character friendship, one (mostly one-sided) side almost-bromance , light romance on the side
- Nirvana in Fire (cdrama)- kind of not-quite-realized but still strong bromance with secrets
- The King Loves (or The King in love) (kdrama)- it's technically romance but bromance in that one is just as important as romance and generally friendship (between all main characters) is the charm and center of the drama
- Hwarang (kdrama) - there is a romance here ( for me it got so anoying that I fast-fowarded it) but it's mainly about friendhips, it's a lighter drama
- I guess "The Untamed" could also be read as only bromance
- Marvelous Women (cdrama)- also with some romantic storylines but focusing on many amazing relationships between various women (and their indywidual journeys), strong sismance ( with some frenemies undertones at times) between main ladies
There are also dramas that had some fantastic bro/sismantic relationship although not as the main focus/main relationship:
- Rise of the Phoenixes ( Ning Yi and Xin Ziyan) - bromance
- Chuno (Dae Gil, Wang-Son and "General" Choi) - bromance
- Mr Sunshine ( Eugine Choi, Gu Dong Mae and Kim Hui Song) - unexpecting and absolutely hilarious bromance between three guys that by all means should hate each other)
- Acient Detective (cdrama)
- Royal Gambler (kdrama) - broamnce here is important part but it's also not always going smoothly (guys being actually brothers)
- Long Ballad - ( Chang Ge, Le Yan) -sismance
Strong and really touching fater- son(s) relationships you will find in " Iljimae" (kdrama)
