Me to offscreen character: "hold my beer!"
Cunning Single Lady : This is what I would use to get people hooked on kdramas haha. The perfect romcom.
Down With Love : C-drama, they met and get to know each other, he falls hard and fast but there are a few obstacles (misunderstandings and a horrible set on 2nd leads). One of my faves. Lots of comedy and some family drama.
Queen of Reversals : It's a pretty harsh/realistic drama underneath the comedy. I didn't appreciate it fully when I was younger, but I think it deserves a second watch with my new maturity haha. Part comedy/family/social commentary/office drama.
Secret Garden pretty classic. He tries to be cold, annoying and aloof but fails miserably haha.
Summer's Desire (2012 version): Pretty classic too. Two men after the FL and you don't know the ML till the end. No comedy in this.
Marriage, Not Dating
Sungkyunkwan Scandal : Gender bender/historical/mystery/romance/reverse harem.
Flower Boy Ramen Shop : Noona romance/reverse harem/comedy
Protect the Boss : A bit role reversal (he runs after her and she treats him like a little brother.
King2Hearts : Action/comedy/romance/mystery
I Hear Your Voice : Comedy/romance/mystery
Trot Lovers : Ennemies to friends to lovers
Kha Khong Khon : Thai lakorn. Very good, there's a bit of comic relief but very harsh moments too towards the end (no abuse in case you wonder). One of my fave thai dramas.
Rooftop Prince : I remember only good things from this, but for some reason I gave him a 7/10 rating. Weird, I don't remember why...
Last Cinderella : J-dorama. Some laughs, some cringe and a few tears.
My Love from the Star : How time flies... This also is a classic. Comedy/romance/mystery/office politics.
Discovery of Romance Funny, smart and sexy. The FL will certainly make you mad many times.
It's Okay, That's Love : Idem.
High School King of Savvy : Very underrated. Comedy/office politics/social commentary/slice of life (lives)
Ruk Ok Rit : Thai lakorn. This is very funny but the romance is very slow burn. Comedy/mystery/romantic. There's absolutely NO cliché in this show.
