Plz recommend me a great angsty love story with tortured hero!

As the title says :) What can I say, I like watching dramas (especially romance ones ) Where ML is tortured, be emotionally  or physically - as long as by not by FL. The ML is someone  with deep scars , a broken heart who only sees darkness. Those I watched that fits good is the MLs from ”The Princess’ Man” and ”Love and Redemption”.  In TPM (Korea) the ML started out rich , cheerful with no worried but due to tragedies he became an outcast and  turned to someone serious with full of revenge! It was so hot! In L&R (China) the ML was mostly tortured physically many times , Poor dude .. he was so kindhearted and self sacrificing. 

So anything in that line  please :) i prefer happy endings but if its tragedy is fine as long as its done beautifully.

Burning Ice - now this is a unique one. All characters have tragic stories but one specific male lead goes from having a very kind and pure soul to an absolute disgusting one. I really like this one, since its characterization is so unique but might not be for everyone something :)
