Divorced characters get back together. Maybe he cheated or wronged her but later he gets his redemption arc & she forgives him. (Happy ending). Please read for examples.

•The PERFECT example of it is this korea  drama: Beautiful love, Wonderful life. One of the female secondary characters marries this guy because he's rich but he actually loves her for real (and she's a horrible human being at first) but then he cheats and they get divorced (without his consent btw). The actor was so great and the character was so funny and likeable that the writers gave him his redemption arc and he actually got back together with the ex-wife (he wasn't even the main lead, not even the second main lead of the drama).

• The Last Empress. I was one of the ones rooting for the emperor, sorry. I'm looking for something EXACTLY like it but with a HAPPY ENDING.

I've been told Go back couple and Familiar Wife could fit what I'm looking for.

With redemption arc I mean this: HE TOTALLY AND ABSOLUTELY REGRETS WHAT HE DID TO HER AND SINCERELY APOLOGIZES, BUT NOT ONLY THAT, HE SHOWS WITH ACTIONS THAT HE'S SERIOUS ABOUT HIS LOVE FOR HER.
