i don't really care about who is ML and who is SML, but dramas where , there are two guys, one is perfect is every way possible in the society , and the other one is incompetent af or incompetent in comparison to other ml, yet the fl chooses the imperfect one. its okay if the fl dated or liked the perfect one before but i want the endgame to be the imperfect one

any language , any county , any num of episodes, or movie will do

you raise me up :
she chooses the ml over the sml even though it's clear that the ml isn't sucessful at all in the REAL society whereas the sml is rich and is a doctor who every would choose irl.
<sml is kinda hateful but he changes later in the story>

I wouldn't use "incompetent" to describe any of these MLs, but they are imperfect, especially in the eyes of society / in comparison with the SML who is (or at least on paper appears to be) nearly perfect / someone who should be more desirable to the FL than the ML.

The FL is engaged to Kim Hui Sung (one of two SMLs). They are both from rich, powerful families.

The FL also has a semi-romantic relationship with the ML, Eugene Choi. He saves / protects the FL a few times / is pretty clearly in love with her. The FL asks him to "do" love together without knowing what the word means and he agrees. She seems to also have feelings for him, but she always prioritizes her cause (Korean independence) over romance (and the ML respects that choice) and they never take their relationship to the next level by kissing or confirming that they're in love / dating. Later, the FL ends up getting married to him in order to do something for the cause (a marriage of convenience / marriage on paper). The ML joins the FL's cause as a rebel and, in the end, dies protecting her. They were sort of together before that, but not completely. The FL definitely chooses him over marrying her fiance, but at the same time I think you could also say she chose her cause over having a proper romantic relationship with the ML

Thus she ends up with no one?

nay that's totally alright. Mr. sunshine came up on my feed a lot of times, but i always sort of avoided it because the cover seemed straight up like a 50 year old with a 15 year old. i always knew at the back of my mind that that's not the case but the age difference seemed so pedophilic i never looked more into it. don't get me wrong, im always up for a cute age gap relationships, ive got an entire custom list with older female/younger male series, and ive watched a few older male/younger female as well!! but this one's cover always made it awkward for me cause the FL seemed severely underaged. but thanks a lot, the story seems wayy deeper than just some cute romance. ill give it a go. especially focusing on korean independence , ive really less knowledge on that, so this one might even be really a new aspect

no one?

Yep.

 Ichika Kaneki:
age gap

Yeah the actors have a 20 year age gap (I think they were 28 and and 48 at the time) and the FL has a young face on top of that.

ill give it a go

I hope you enjoy it ^^

No overacting, don't worry. Both leads are actually excellent actors. It's a really good drama, but not light or fluffly.
