Stars Falling From the Sky- The FL is really unlikable in the beginning, but changes as the drama goes on.


if you're okay with side characters : Ugly Alert- the ML sister, I never thought I'd like her at all, but she slowly changes for the better the drama is 133 episodes long so it's a slow change but it does happen naturally as the story goes on.

ML is messed up / does some pretty messed up stuff, but falls very hard for the FL and becomes more likeable after he starts to prioritize her:

ML is cold and aloof, selfish and lazy, or selfish and a hardass boss (i.e., regular jerks, not at the level of the guys above) but then falls hard for the FL and becomes more likeable:

Others:

  • The Story of Ming Lan - ML starts out okay in the beginning but then makes bad / frustrating choices for a while before his character development kicks in.
  • Witch's Romance - Jaded noona FL.
  • I Hear Your Voice  - Jaded noona FL.
  • Misty - There's some character development, but I'd say it's more "character reveal" than "character development" that takes the FL from unlikeable to likeable. The FL is portrayed as vain, selfish and unfaithful to a good husband at first, but over the course of the drama the narrative shows that the FL and her situation are more complicated than they originally appeared, and the FL's better character traits (particularly her strong sense of justice) are also revealed.

Crash landing on you - 2ML (Hated to most loved)

Dr. Romantic 2 - Park Min Guk  (3ML) (Sick of him at first)

Prison playbook - Crony (supporting role) but the most hated man at first, well technically till last as well. But good character development.  And the main lead also develops a lot as a character even though he was always likeable

Stranger 1 and 2 - ML (He's not exactly unlikable, but EXCELLENT character development)

Strat Up - 2FL (kinda evil to kinda normal)

It's okay not to be okay and Hotel del luna - FL (crazy to kinda normal)

SKY castle - A must watch (A whole lot of character development in almost all characters)

My annoying brother - older brother

Oh my ghost - ML (evil boss)

Mr, Sunshine - 2ML (loved him)

My mister - FL and some other characters

Hwarang - Queen

Do you like Brahms? - FL (good character development)
