Drama Where ML gives up

So I'm looking for those types of drama that have the MLs crushing/loving the FL, however, everything he is doing is not working and so the ML decided to give up, and only then does the FL realize what she is missing.

Yea, I have been trying to find the same. There are a lot of shows with the tag Male Lead Chase Female First, but I want to see those types that have the male lead chasing her until he feels like nothing will change and decides to go after someone else or do something else before the female lead realizes that she gave up something.

He doesn’t give up on her but she “rejects” him and when he leaves she realizes her feelings and starts missing him and tries to get with him when he returns. One of my favorite dramas.

This is an older korean drama and it’s not the FL but 2FL that the ML gives up on. He chases her for 8 years and gets constantly rejected by her, after he leaves she realizes her feelings and “chases” him back just to get rejected herself. It was satisfying for me. 

It’s hard to find a drama where the ML just gives up chasing the FL, without him being rejected first.
