Sometimes, I just get that urge to watch something warm.

I would like to watch a romance where both leads are incredibly warm, kind, friendly and respectful towards each other. Where they communicate and work together and bring each other comfort. Something like that.

If there are any dramas, from any country, that have given you this vibe, please recommend me your favourite ones. At the moment, I don't particularly care about the setting, I just really want to see a heart-warming romance.

(Though please don't recommend me something where the leads are horrible to each other at the start - I don't forgive easily myself, so it always just ruins the whole thing, and makes it much harder to become invested.)

I hope this isn't too vague.

  • 30-sai made Dotei Da to Mahotsukai ni Nareru rashii: Both the male leads in this are super sweet characters. Really a heart melting romance.
  • Colorful Love: Genderless Danshi ni Aisareteimasu: Really a 10/10 relationship wise. The main leads know how to communicate when they have an issue and solve things in a timely manner.  A refreshing potrayal of a healthy relationship. It also helps that both leads are super adorable characters!
  • Innocent Love: There is a little bit of friction at first because the female lead is an outcast who has a hard time knowing how to properly become friends with people. There is also some serious trauma that may be upsetting to viewers about her childhood. But the romance is very warm and the show is one of those that I go back to from time to time just for their relationship.
  • Horimiya: Super cute high school romance with basically no angst from what I can remember.
  • Kimi no Te ga Sasayaite Iru: A drama special about a deaf woman trying to navigate through the world. A really heartfelt show with a sweet romance.
  • The Legend of White Snake: The main leads are just good people all around.
  • Look Tard: The main leads always loved each other but were both afraid to pursue it because they didn't know how the other felt and their social status was so different. Once they get together they never leave each other's side. Both characters are very kind and do what they can to help each other and other friends/family.
  • My Fated Boy: Super cute age gap romance. The female lead sees the male lead as a little brother figure for a long time but he eventually wins her over!
  • Our Shiny Days: More of a drama about friendship, but the romance in it is super cute and worth mentioning to me. They obviously like each other the whole show and just don't realize it.
  • Semi Otoko: The male lead helps the female lead when she is in a dark place and in turn she helps him live his life to the fullest.
  • Shizuka-chan to Papa: The main leads complement each other well and have great communication even though they have very different personalities.
  • Unmei ni, Nita Koi: A great mature romance. Mature as in both leads are proper adults who are kind and considerate to others.

Falling Into Your Smile    (ML and FL work together, basically living together as a esports gaming group, playing together, competing together, and falling in love together, and treat each other well)

https://mydramalist.com/62337-you-are-my-glory  No love triangle, no evil plots, no unnecessary misunderstanding, just two adults communicating. both leads are smart and sensible individuals. No silly confusions or misunderstandings, no jealous second leads. So gratifying to watch this drama series .

4-punkan no Marigold (Only if you're not allergic to "I can't even stand non-blood-related stepsibling romance" crap) I'm not sorry for my language here.
Neechan no Koibito
Komi-san wa, Komyushou Desu
Koi Desu: Yankee-kun to Hakujou Garu

If you want movies I have like double digits of em.

Something in the Rain

Put Your Head On My Shoulder - I wouldn't go so far as to claim that there aren't some small quarrels, but on the whole these are two very decent people and he just plain adores her.

Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol - Thought they do bicker a little bit, fl is really warm and ml is always helping her with everything he can. He isn't ever mean.

Extraordinary You - I don't completely remember. But from what I can recall the ml is completely devoted to the fl and neither are all that cold.

Reply 1988 - The fl is really warm and the ml is really sweet.

Something in the Rain - Very mature romance. No one is rude in the beginning.

Three Dads One Mom - There are 3 mls and 1 fl. The mls differ in how kind/sweet they are. But none of them are outright rude.
