Like the ML is a prince and cancels it and all the supporters becomes bubbles, or there's war, yet the war would happen either way and the prince is just a symbol a faith or belief of "his" supporters, but what they actually support isn't him but his title/status. And the ML is able to morally distance himself from his "fans". Too often I've seen these ancient princes talking about responsibility and morality as if they due to their birth was supposed to uphold the role of whatever the supporters of his title believed in. Which is just stupid and kinda makes me wish to be born a prince just to tell everyone to f off.
