Bromance = hinted / hidden BL

This topic cannot be discussed without spoilers so be warned.

I just finished The Blood of Youth which is also a bromance drama with great chemistry between the four male leads.

Now the ML is totally disinterested in his GF,  walks away when presented the opportunity to become the emperor and shows no relief when he defeated his main enemy, begging the question, what the heck is this guy after?

And then there is an extra ending episode where in the last seconds he meets his best buddy in a setting resembling the ending of The Untamed and suddenly everything makes sense (because now they will live together happily ever after).

This reminded me of Warrior Baek Dong Soo which contains a very tragic ending that makes sense only when understood as suicide because of unrecognized love between the two MLs.

Now I'm asking if anyone can recommend similar shows or movies containing bromance that makes more sense when seen as hidden BL?

I'm not asking for censored C-dramas adapted from danmeis where the BL aspect is obvious.

With both of the following, the manga is more obvious than the live dramas:

• Kei×Yaku: Abunai Aibou (fake boyfriend trope)
  
• The Night Beyond the Tricornered Window (the anime is closer to a BL)
