How can someone in the U.S. support authors? Do they sell copies of novels with verified English translations? I’d happily buy those novels. 

That depends on the certain book tbh since some have official Eng translations whereas others are done online and don't provide monetary gain to the author. This book, unfortunately, doesn't have an *official* translation that I'm aware of, but you can still support the original author by purchasing the Chinese copy here:  http://www.jjwxc.net/onebook.php?novelid=912073 (I'm not really sure how to navigate the linked website)

It's complete but when you  see in JJWX, there's an extra chapter.

The translation is still ongoing, but the original novel is complete. Once the translators finish with the novel, I'm sure they will translate the extras too. 

Translating does take quite a bit of time, so maybe bookmark the google doc and then keep an eye out for updates :)

According to NovelUpdates, there are 78 chapters in total, 68 of which have been translated (https://www.novelupdates.com/series/faraway-wanderers/) <-- This site is a great place for translated novels if you don't already use it

Chichi has started translating from chapter 68 onwards. At their pace, the translation will be complete in a month or so
