Just everything I have watched so far [updating]

Beware... may include very good or very bad dramas

** The notes will be a short review from me. {I didn't want to write a separate review because I feel like I have to go into more depth. Also, I'm a little nervous about writing one.}

  • Die Now

    1. Die Now

    Chinese Drama - 2017, 20 episodes

    9.0

The story was really unique and I liked the concept of it.  Anyway, the games were really interesting to watch. Although, some parts were a little dragging. I recommend watching it if you want something refreshing. Well... I don't want to spoil a lot so go watch if you are interested.

  • Douluo Continent

    2. Douluo Continent

    Chinese Drama - 2021, 40 episodes

    8.5

I enjoyed the series, but there are still many mysteries. For it to end like this is a crime. I'm just happy that there is a season 2 coming out (hopefully with the same cast.) If you have not watched the animation, it is very different.

  • My Roommate Is a Detective

    3. My Roommate Is a Detective

    Chinese Drama - 2020, 36 episodes

    9.0

This show is so cute! I just love the main male lead in this and just wish I had his brains. The cases were interesting and I wonder how they come up with this stuff. I would definitely watch if you are interested in mystery and comedy.

  • Oversize Love

    4. Oversize Love

    Chinese Movie - 2020

    10

Omg, I did not expect to cry. Like when I say give me something lighthearted and funny to lift my spirits, I got a movie that made me tear up. But it doesn't help that I'm emotional... Anyways, this story really emphasizes that size does not matter as long as you love the person the way they are. The execution of this lesson is thought out really well as they blend romance and comedy together. You could feel that the interaction between the actors was genuine.  I really recommend this!

  • The Brightest Star in the Sky

    5. The Brightest Star in the Sky

    Chinese Drama - 2019, 44 episodes

    7.0

I must say, this was a little hard for me to watch. The plot is ok. The story was dragging with a lot of filler scenes that I did not think were necessary. Although I do like cheesy dramas, this one bore me as it progressed. I was also slightly disappointed as to how they ended the show.

  • The Untamed

    6. The Untamed

    Chinese Drama - 2019, 50 episodes

    9.0

Personally loved it. It might sound like I'm really hyping it up. The story was great. Although it was a little dragging and confusing, the bromance between the characters on and off-screen was beautiful. With the music, the ambiance fits in perfectly. I  would definitely recommend watching if you're looking for a fantasy bromance drama!

  • The Witness

    7. The Witness

    Chinese Movie - 2015

    8.5

I cried a little when watching. The story flowed so well with the female lead grieving for her brother but finding that this new person who entered her life resembles him so much. Honestly, the dog scene (you'll know what I am talking about when you see it) kind of hit me harder. Anyways, the acting could use a little more work as I felt like some of the scenes could have made me cry more.

  • The Yin-Yang Master: Dream of Eternity

    8. The Yin-Yang Master: Dream of Eternity

    Chinese Movie - 2020

    8.0

Every element of this movie is great. The actors, the CGI, the music, and the overall production was on point. I loved watching the mains interacting with each other, and it gave me the same vibes as The Untamed. Especially at the end! Ahhhhh... Like always, there were still a few negatives in the plot as parts were a little confusing or dragging.

  • Time Raiders

    9. Time Raiders

    Chinese Movie - 2016

    7.5

If you are a fan of The Lost Tomb, this movie is just for you. It still has Wu Xie and Zhang, but the storyline is a bit different. It was also confusing. I still have a lot of questions, but I think I understand the direction it was going. The acting was ok because the English made me cringe. It just felt out of place and random at some points.
