Kim Hyun Woo is a South Korean musician and keyboardist for the rock band DickPunks. In 2007, he began recruiting his friends as members and created the band. It has the unique characteristic of not having a guitarist, as he wanted the band to be known as a piano ensemble. They debuted in 2010 with the EP "DickPunks 1st" and they have maintained the original line-up since its creation, being currently managed by GIG Entertainment.

In 2012, they participated in the singing competition "Superstar K4" because they wanted to expand their fanbase and managed to earn 2nd place behind Roy Kim. All of the band's members are credited with composing and producing their music and have released several singles and OSTs. Similarly to other rock bands like Crying Nut or Romantic Punch, they don't appear as much on TV as they prefer live events or festivals.
