Kim Nam Joo is a South Korean actress, singer, model, and MC. She is a member of the girl group "A Pink" and two of it's subunits ("JooJiRong" and "Pink BNN") under IST Entertainment. Nam Joo made her acting debut in the 2015 mini-drama "Investigator Alice".

On February 14, 2019, she launched her own fashion line, Sugar Please.
On September 7, 2020, she made her solo debut with her first single album Bird.
On February 14, 2022, Apink released their fourth studio album Horn, as well as the lead single "Dilemma".

She attended Seoul Performing Arts High School along with fellow Apink members Son Na-eun, Oh Ha-young, and former member Hong Yoo-kyung. She graduated in February 2014. In 2015, she was accepted to Sungkyunkwan University's Department of Performance Arts.

On April 8, 2022 Son Naeun departed from the group after 11 years.
IST Entertainment announced that Apink will continue promotions as a five-member group starting with their upcoming 11th anniversary fan song, which is scheduled to be released on April 19, 2022.

She parted ways with IST Entertainment after 12 years following the expiration of her contract at the end of April 2023. On April 28, 2023 Choi Creative Lab announced that signed exclusive contracts with 4 Apink members Chorong, Bomi, Namjoo, and Hayoung.
