Kim Hyung Tae is a South Korean bassist, singer and member of the indie trio Busker Busker. He graduated from Gyeongnam Arts High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Animation from Sangmyung University. In 2010, guitarist Jang Beom Joon decided to recruit fellow musicians in college to create a group that will focus on street performances. He met with Kim (bass) and with English instructor Brad Moore (drums) and the trio formed Busker Busker. In 2011, they participated in "Superstar K3" and were originally eliminated by Togeworl in the auditions but another band dropped out of the competition so they received a second chance, eventually finishing in 2nd place behind Ulala Session. After some time off, the band made their debut in 2012 with the album "Busker Busker 1st Album" and the single "Cherry Blossom Ending" and quickly entered the Gaon Digital Chart. In 2013, they released their second album but suddenly after promotion, they decided to disband and go on indefinite hiatus. They have not performed together since then with each member focusing on their own activities. Later that year, he opened the media art studio "PigRabbit" and released his first single album in 2021.
