Park Yong Kyu, known professionally as Park Ji Heon, is a South Korean singer and member of the R&B trio V.O.S. He obtained 2 bachelor's degrees, one in Applied Music from Woosong Information College and another in Theater and Film from Joongbu University. He later graduated with a master's degree in Music Therapy from Westminster Theological Seminary. He debuted as the leader and vocalist of V.O.S in 2004 with their album "The Real" and immediately drew attention because of his soft vocals and by the height difference between him and his fellow groupmates. They released their 2nd album, "Blue Castle", in 2005 and his vocals were continuously praised by the media who liked his falsetto. In 2009, after promoting their EP "Routine Free", he began negotiations with Star Empire Entertainment to renew his contract. While the other 2 members renewed, he could not reach an agreement with the agency. In addition, it was revealed that he was secretly married and had two kids (born in 2006 and in 2009) with his wife (the couple met in middle school and remain together to this day and now have 6 children), so negotiations broke down and he also had several discussions with his groupmates. In 2010, he decided to quit V.O.S and left the company. He signed with YM Entertainment and debuted as a soloist in late 2012 with the single "If You Miss Me", but the public always associated him with V.O.S. In 2015, he apologized to his former groupmates and he returned to V.O.S when all signed with HappyFace Entertainment. In 2017, they joined J-Soul Company and they occasionally appear on TV and in special events.
