He first appeared in underground live clubs in 1985 using his birth name. He then made his official debut in 1991 with his first album, "I Want To Ask If You Love Me" using the stage name Park Joon Ha.
In 1992, one of his songs was used as an OST for the MBC drama "Mudong's House" (무동이네 집) and he became well-known. In 1994, he decided to legally change his name to Park Joon Ha.
In 1995, he was convicted for a marijuana-related incident and he took a long hiatus. He returned in 2000 when his third album was produced by Boohwal's Kim Tae Won and became a commercial success. In 2005, he was convicted for another marijuana-related incident and he went on hiatus once again.
Since then, he has rarely appeared on TV but remains active as a singer.
