Mek Mekwattana, mostly known by his stage name Jesse Mekwattana, is a Thai singer and actor. He is the son of the famous musician Thierry Mekwattana, a Thai singer and musician of Swiss and Chinese descent who is best known as a Carabao member, and the actress Utumporn Silapan. Jesse was the second son of one sister named Mekkhala (Jane). He graduated from Marlborough boys college, in New Zealand and graduated at the Faculty of Communication Arts from Bangkok University (Independent in The Department of Film Journalism).

Jessie joined the entertainment industry as a model and singer in Carabao's 'Chatuchak Park' song. In 2005, Jesse entered the gang's freshman search program and was selected as one of the sitcom actors.
