Heo Young Saeng
- Name: Heo Young Saeng
- Native name: 허영생
- Also Known as: 許永生, ホヨンセン, Heo Yeong Saeng
- Nationality: South Korean
- Gender: Male
- Born: November 3, 1986
- Age: 38
He made his debut in June 2005 as the group's main vocalist with their first EP, "Warning". In 2007, they entered the Japanese market with the single "Kokoro", which debuted at number five on the Oricon chart. The following year, they became the first South Korean artists to win the award for Best New Artist at the Japan Gold Disc Awards. The group was represented by DSP Media (DSP미디어).
After Park Jung Min and Kim Hyun Joong began focusing on their acting careers, he became the leader of a project group with the other two SS501 members. They released the album "U R Man" in November 2008 and continued to promote as a 3-member team.
In 2010, his contract with DSP expired and he signed with B2M Entertainment (B2M 엔터테인먼트). As all members signed with different agencies and no company wanted to take them as a group, they decided to go on an indefinite hiatus in late 2010 to focus on their individual activities. He began appearing in musicals and dramas while also promoting as part of the project group.
He made his debut as a solo artist in 2011 with the single "Let It Go".
He enlisted in his mandatory military service on October 31, 2013 and was discharged on July 30, 2015.
In January 2016, CI Entertainment (CI 엔터테인먼트) announced that the project group that was launched in 2008, will officially debut under the name Double S 301 (더블에스301, also written as SS301). A few days later, they released the mini-album "Eternal 5".
SS501 has confirmed they will reunite at some point in early 2025 to release a Japanese album to commemorate their 20th anniversary. He is now represented by AZ Entertainment (AZ엔터테인먼트).
