Shin Seung Hun is a South Korean singer-songwriter and producer. He graduated from Daeshin High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Chungnam National University. He debuted in 1990 with the song "Reflection of You in Your Smile" which immediately became a huge hit. He showed tremendous ability in both composition and singing, to the point that legendary senior singer Cho Yong Pil recognized him as his successor. He earned the title "Emperor of Ballads" in the early 1990s and was named as South Korea's national singer at that time. His first 10 albums have earned Golden Disk honors and "Invisible Love" remained as #1 in popularity for 14 weeks after it was released in 1991. In 2004, he decided to enter the Japanese market and even gave a song to junior singers as he began focusing on producing. Despite not being well-known by the current generation, he remains an all-time legend of the South Korean popular music industry.
