Ko Young Yeol is a South Korean pansori singer and a member of crossover group, "RabidAnce". He graduated from Gwangju Arts High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Korean Traditional Music from Hanyang University. His mother wanted him to become a professional swimmer so she enrolled him in pansori lessons to increase his lung capacity. Instead, he discovered his talent in pansori and also set his goal to make traditional Korean music more widely heard and loved both inside the country and abroad. He joined "Phantom Singer 3" to learn more about crossover music and form a crossover vocal group capable of a musical experiment. He joined crossover group RabidAnce and earned 2nd place behind La Poem. They were represented by CREDIA Music & Artists but on March 2022 they left the label and established their own called Neotrend Music with Ko as the representative.
