What a beautiful piece of media. The story of Nozue and Togawa is about two office workers who have a friendly relationship on a mission of anti-ageing. It might sound silly, but the light-heartedness actually sits on top of such a realistic feeling of being lost, of feeling stuck in the same old, and also specifically for Nozue, he feels that his age is limiting for what he can do. Togawa is madly in love with him and wants to spend time with him, and sees his value. When they finally are able to accept their feelings, voice them and reaffirm them, it is truly a moment of ecstasy. Just a perfect drama to binge, and to rewatch, and to contemplate about bcs the underlying themes might not be as obvious. Love this drama, will forever be a favourite of mine.
