I love a silly little drama as much as the next person, but halfway through this show I stopped having fun...
I have never seen a show with such horrible pacing before. The silence between each line seemed to increase with each episode and by the finale, I had to pause every 15 minutes and take a 30 minute break because I was getting unreasonably pissed off about it ☠️ And I did all of that for Literally Nothing to happen in that finale... yet they had the AUDACITY to make it 60+ minutes long ?
Honestly if we condensed this into 8 episodes, I probably would've loved it. The premise is ridiculous and I love that but my GOD it has no right being this damn long.
I wanted to like this... I did like this... It was amusing for enough episodes that I didn't drop it, purely because of the sunk-cost fallacy. Unfortunately, I'll remember this show as one of the most painful watches I have had so far.
