The story itself (plot wise) is not that fascinating. Its just your typical Chinese cliche.
Now, just because I said the story isn't fascinating doesn't mean that it isn't good. Its actually a very detailed plot line and very entertaining and refreshing in the sense that its still a cliche but it's kind of done differently and there is kind of a twist at the end that differentiates this movie from other similar ones.
The acting is amazing (as expected from the 2 leads to be honest cuz every work they do is freaking amazing) and the music really fits the movie making it more enjoyable.
I wouldn't say it's an impactful movie. Meaning that you wont really be that impressed with it to the point that you wont be able to forget it for the rest of your life. Its just a pass time kind of movie to enjoy at the moment and not really come back and watch again.
