Great idea for a series
This is probably the greatest idea for a series I've seen in a long time. The episodes were too short and the series could have gone one for 10-15 episodes in my opinion. The split personality part could have been draw out and been very entertaining in my opinion. I think both actors did a great job and the music was wonderful. The second story with the friend and the doctor could have been more extensive too. So there goes my first opinion as justified. A BL with a mental helath issue and a happy ending is just A+ in my book. Again wish it was more. Was this review helpful to you?
Great series This series is under rated on MDL.
In my mind this is a short/mini-series. For sure this could have gone 45-50 minutes per episode with plenty of great scenes. But a lass, there are a few spaces between the smiling pearly white teeth of this series. The good stuff first, the basic story line was just awesome. Literary book writers intrigue and drama. The cast was also very strong. For sure Joog Woo carries and sold the series. His smile and electric personality lite up the screen in many scenes. I think Leo was and Karam did a great job, but I think the script and/or directing keep them from shining. For sure Ji Yeong was very strong and very convincing. Im also deserves some credit for being a likeable side kick who bails. So, the elephant in the room is what the hell did "writer Cha do to start this entire series? That would have been nice. The ending was a bit too quick and could have developed more and created more tension and a release to the happy (3 some) ending. (???) The other complaint was the lack of passion in the kissing scenes. (DFK) Ha Jong Woo did elevate this series significantly. For sure, this is under rated being under 8. Please that is unbeleivable. It is at least a 9 I gave it a 9.5.Was this review helpful to you?
Highest quality of any BL
For sure this is the best yet of the Thai BL's. Bravo! I can't remember even on episode that I thought the story was off track or they were stalling or going on a tangent. The story developed out from start to finish logically. There were some twist and turns but not too much and not too fantastical to be believable. Earth for sure was the best actor award. He was believable playing a stern and difficult part. All of the actors including the kids were believable and likeable. That again is a great accomplishment without being too cheesy. I will really miss this one. Maybe I'll feel better about the rewatch value after a while but because it is a story with a they live happily every after and no want of a season 2. The Dr (Nam) is also an honorable mention. He needs his own series. Was this review helpful to you?

I liked it but....
So, I didn't like where this season went but I have to say it did have a lot of depth to it and it did tackle a bunch of issues that exist in relationships. The gay and straight ones both. I just fell in love with the character Seo Joon in season one, so I was devastated when Ji Woo left. I felt Seo Joon's pain like it was my own. Congrats to Woo Hyun. As for Kang Mon I'm not sure if he really acted well or not because I was too into the story. I keep hoping Ji Woo would go see a psychotherapist. I guess Kang Mon did do well. Again, very strong story with secondary's being just as strong and relevant. My only issue is the reconciliation. I really didn't see the point when or where that change occurred or what triggered it. I also actually thought there was too much damage to the relationship. Again, I'm just happy that Seo Joon was happy in the end. Shout out for the little girl and to the CEO for best supporting actor/actress in this series. Was this review helpful to you?
I'm not a BL food fan but...
I'm not a big fan of cooking BL's. This one did have some interesting food themes and I suppose I did learn some about cooking and Thia cooking. I know that's a run on sentence. (lol) I really enjoyed this series. It was well done in all aspects. Scripting, believability of the characters, Cinematography, music, and even the females were almost likeable. As with many BL's I wind up emotionally involved more with the secondar couple than the main couple. Prem and Vich just blew me away. So unexpected too. Beautiful exchanges between them. Best actor has to go to Aue, with many honorable mentions, 1st runner up is Vich , then Aek's mom, Aui, Bie. The entire cast was really strong in my opinion. The ending was anticlimactic, and episode 11 was good to tie up some loose ends with Prem and Vich but where was Aue and Aek? again no ending. Otherwise really enjoyable. I never wanted to fast forward and with an almost 50 minutes per episode they never seemed long or slow. Thank-you to all. Great Job "David" Woradech BiganderPS I disagree with most of the other reviews. There were a couple scenes that the staring and dialogue seemed slow. I thought they did it for dramatic effect.

Odd man out
I missed this when it 1st aired. Then I missed the second season. I decided to watch the second season 1st. I stopped after a few episodes when I realized I was not enjoying it....so I decided to watch the 1st season. I thought it was ok at 1st then I was like I'm liking this one either. I foreced myself to watch this to the end to try and see what everyone else saw. The cinematography was great and the music was great (overpowering sometime) . I didn't get what the fuse was about. I didn't like either characters. They cried way too much to be reasonable even in a drama series. It was even in the script when the brother called Teh a cry baby. Oh-aew was of course worse with the crying and totally not likeable in my opinion. The couple never seemed to have fun or enjoy each other. The actors were mediocre at best. The idea that they were rivals was just dropped. Never resolved they never displayed any real tension between them that I saw. Even love or sex tension. I didn't see it. The only likeable charter was Bas. Of course it goes that I will say he didn't have enough scenes or lines. Honorable mention goes to the brother Hoon again should have had more lines and scenes. As usually females were all annoying and not likeable. In my opinion there are many other low budget BL's that were more enjoyable and more likeable.PS What's the lesson learned for this BL. Don't give up your college scholarship for a cry baby who doesn't study well?

Please watch. This series is under rated here
Please watch. This series is under rated here. It's not a 10 bet it's not a 7.8. Some where in the middle 8.8 to 9.0 is a good place in my opinion. There are a lot of negative comments on this site I do not agree with. One is about the chemistry between Ze and Fu. It's not hot and passionate but it did seem to get that way in the last two episodes. But I did see a chemistry from the beginning. especially from Fu. For sure both stories and all the leads where very likeable. All the female cast were again very likeable and very good characters. Next is that this is an adult BL with older characters with older situations which I believe all came across very well. This for sure has a high rewatch value. One last thing I'm pretty sure the photographer in the last episode was Charles Tu. (I just Love Charles) He is not listed in credits.Congrats to all this is a very well done series that will have lasting viewers.

It's worth the watch
I really like when gay guys ( or BL guys whatever) that can fight, defend themselves and be brave. It shows a good role model and steers youngers away from attaching themselves to stereotypes. I accept and love all LGBTQ+ in real life there is a rainbow of personalities within in our world. So That's my biggest plus when the main story of course is different and is intriguing but it did disappoint a lot. Not so much that it wasn't worth watching but it could have been a lot better. With out being judged I have to say Sky was a bit too emotional for me at times because the script in my opinion did not support it. I think Sun was best actor for sure with Pitch coming on strong in he middle and then lacked enough scripts scenes in the ending episodes. Bank was so-so pretty much thru out. The girls are forgettable . They could have been written out and I would not have missed them. Yes I agree it could have been better but it was enjoyable most of the time. Was this review helpful to you?

BL 2.0
There was a lot to like about this series. There was a lot that was unique within the BL genre. Even the female charters were likeable. What's also good about this series is what it's not. Not stereotypical or homophobe or ... The story had it's ups and downs and something didn't really go smoothly I guess I should say transition wise. But all in all it was one of the most enjoyable and the cast all were believable and likeable. There was a large amount of great chemistry amongst the ensemble. I am an OHM fan but still i believe he is going to make it mainstream. He had some very strong scenes and he really made it specials. Especially the roof top scenes. I think he should be nominated for an award for the last roof top scenes. Jimmy and Drake are next in line for me. Very strong presence and great job standing out. Nanon to me was not real good in the first 4 to 5 episodes. He then got better or the scripts and or directing got better. Much better in Eps 8 through 12 for sure.Like all series not perfect but for sure one of the better ones.
Congrats to all involved in creating this one. Bravo!

I don't get it...
I don't get it...and I did not care for this BL series. I didn't like the ending. I like both actors but don't think they had a connection or chemistry. I'm not a big fan of Chef BL's. Maybe that's it. No, there were too many flaws in this series. The beach scene seemed very forced and unnatural. The forgiving and acceptance of the staff was not in line. Otherwise, it was well done. Music cinematography, etc.. I need to write more characters but I don't have anything else to say............could they add a character counter? Was this review helpful to you?
Is it or isn't it?....
It's weird...It's not weird...it's weird...it's not weird..and the final verdict is ................................................................................................................................................................IT"S WEIRD.....Seriously maybe I need to watch this again....I think I kept thinking they were going to cross the line! The 1st Ep really put me off! Maybe I didn't catch a lot of the attributes I see posted here in other reviews. I'll admit another viewing mabe be needed here.
Yes, ππto writers and producers for presenting a different type of human relationship and the turmoil associated with same sex relationship in a still very unaccepting world....no role models...no family or societal acceptance...In an over-all general sense. I could go on....which this lack of emotional support all leads to insecurity, communication issues and in this case weirdness.
However, to me this series seems like a stage play that was adapted to film. I think it needed more density. The intent and intensity seemed very inconsistent a lot of the time.
I kept thinking Yoh was going to run away... and I think he should have!
To me his internal dialogue didn't match his outward behavior which is troublesome for me to watch and see. I hope to see Mashiko in a less controversial BL in the future. I think he could be very charismatic in the right role.

It's OK
I'll get right to the point. It's not the Thai version and for me it never obtains any of the magic and awe that is in the Thai version. For me there was a flow issue and a clarity of intent issue with the actual scripting. I never really connected to any of the characters. I have a bit of a crush going on for Lee Jung Min, he was the most likeable character too. The females were all good, that's a plus, but the guys were difficult to get with for me. Otherwise quality was good, cinematography good, set scences etc. The music was ok. Watchable for sure. Rewatch not so much. Was this review helpful to you?
I don't know what to say
That's just my title I do know what to say...The 1st 42 minutes were painful. I didn't get that it was one day (VD's) over 4 years until the very end. I kept thinking when does the 4 days play into this? So I don't like to criticize someone's effort to push the art form. Great idea but it didn't manifest well for me. As others have said there is way too many dead scenes that seem to go on forever. ha-ha it was only 4 days....anyway, Sebastian did a great job looking younger then older...did he loose wait for the last year? Mikoy also looked different each year not really older in year 4 but different. I have to say I did think that Mark was a bit hard on Derek on the 4th day. There was no reference about talking about this before the 1 year anniversary, I think for substances sake it should have been mentioned either way. Anyway, he got his way but geez is that the message we want to give here? Explode on your closeted partner to get him to come out? Maybe this should have been a short. I do have to say I do have some sort of satisfaction from experiencing this movie, most of it was during my typing of this review. Think about it....Was this review helpful to you?
A Great Series
This is great series! Very enjoyable. My Saturdays will not be the same I'm sure. Thank-you to the cast, writers and producers for a wonderful affirming experience with a BL. Boss Thanabat as Kao get s special mention for stealing the show in a few episodes. Great actor... πππPS It's not Gone with the Wind but for a BL it's great and it's going to be one of the most watched and re-watched for sure. I haven't read the book but maybe I will. I still don't think it will change my opinion.

Disappointing is the verdict
Oh geez! There was certainly a lot of sweet and touching emotional events that occurred in the finale. I'm going to accept the H4 inclusion in the finale as a positive. Still, it doesn't make up for the issues of the previous 9 episodes. In my mind there are only two noteworthy scenes in the first 9 episodes. They are the boxing scene and the lightening rod scene. The latter being hysterically funny. Both rose to the level I expect for History series. I would have liked to know how did He Bo aka Johhny get to 2022? Was it divine intervention or a freak time warp coincidence? Anyway, Wynn gets the best actor award. I never did take to Liang even though he was reincarnated in the finale. We could have seen Linus Wang shirtless a few more times. It would have helped in some episodes. Lastly, I have to congratulate Elaine Ho as Se Mo for being likeable and understanding of her role. Most females in BL's are not likeable and are usually annoying. Yeah, overall, it was disappointing. At least the finale was good. Was this review helpful to you?
