Intriguing...
It's only 2 episodes in so there's not a lot to say other than 'watch this now!' I love Korean dramas for their production values and there pretty actors but some of there BL's can be a bit lacklustre when it comes to interesting plot and slow pacing. I have not read the original source material but it immediately drew me in with its amazing storytelling for what seems like a simple enough plot. Its clever and engaging and funny with perfect pacing to match. The performances from all the leads plus the side characters are wonderful. Who can resist an enemies to lovers plot line, definitely a 'must see' right now I'm really impressed with this more than any other Korean BL I've seen of late. Was this review helpful to you?
Love by Chance Season 2: A Chance to Love

I've only been watching Thai BLs for a short time and some are wonderful and others are most definitely not, this is one of those. They love cashing in on their sequels or placing the same actor couples in multiple films and their sledgehammer product placements and I get all that, its a business, they are ultimately their to make money. But.... but... just because the first one was popular isn't a good enough reason to make another especially if the script sucks and the main actor has no desire to be in it I only recently was made aware of the public battle of the managers of Saint and Perth and how this totally unprofessional what seems like p***ing match destroyed the future of this franchise. But honestly this film should definitely not have been made... its an insulting disaster to any fan of the original. Dumping the Saint (main actor) because of petty squabbles and have Perth's character moan and weep and be a douche in every episode did not help the actor one iota, no wonder he wants out of the BL universe. But the worst sin was to rewrite the Can/Tin storyline, I mean that was unforgivable. I never believed in them as a couple, they don't work in my opinion. Honestly only watch this if you are desperate or else just forget it ever existed in the first place and enjoy the first series as a standalone. Was this review helpful to you?
Can't help smiling
I have not seen every episode but this woman is a South Korean national treasure, she's so brilliant and funny. I mean she's a singer and dancer and she does her thing and she's bold and brassy and doesn't pull punches. I feel like there's no one like her out there in Korean Tv land. She's confronting and hilarious and maybe sometimes she makes people, celebrities a little uncomfortable but so she should, one thing she is never ever boring. I'm so glad she's out there shaking things up a bit, we need more people like that. Its a joy watching her put celebrities on the spot. Was this review helpful to you?
Intriguing
So far it looks pretty interesting. I like the characters. Looks like there might be some love triangles and some heartache in the future episodes. Some good acting and intriguing storylines. Its early days though, only one episode so far so we'll see how it fairs further into the series. Yoon from 'Paint with Love and "Y destiny is a side couple. The two leads ive never seen in anything and they've only just met in the end of ep 1 so we'll see what their chemistry is like. Definitely give it a go.Was this review helpful to you?
Fun and over the top
OMG people are way too serious in this f-ed up world. Yes, the main character is kinda obsessed with the school jock basketball star, and its cringey and campy but damn it, its so fun and silly, I’m looking forward to the next episode and to see how the story progresses. The characters are awesome, the actors have charisma, the production quality is brilliant. It’s a bright spark in a cold, cold world folks… There are many other Dramas which a far more toxic than what other 'reviewers' have written about this series, shame on you haters...Was this review helpful to you?
Cute....
I'm only reviewing this after only 1 episode and not having read the manga but I kinda love it. Japanese humour I just adore, it's that over the top craziness that I personally connect with. Very pretty main leads, interesting array of side characters. The premise of this reminds me of Kieta-Hatsukoi with the popular lead thinking the more chaotic lead has fallen for him, so bumbling guy pretends and then actually does fall for the guy. Hopefully that makes sense. I'm imagining it will be light, sweet and best of all lacking in too much drama. Sometimes you just need fun fluff and this looks like this will be right up my alley. Was this review helpful to you?
I'm sorry, but no....
Admittedly I couldn't make it to the end of the first episode. The chef (one of the male leads) made this Michelin star type 5 star meal for his doctor wife-to-be and she threw it in the garbage. This same woman just looks super bored with him, kissing patients and ignoring him basically and when she shows up late to some hair/makeup appointment he boldly utters something along the lines of "You don't have to say your sorry because you're my woman' and then proceeds to kiss her into submission. OMG by then I'd had enough of this drivel, possibly the worst line ever, I'd have decked him. I think I might have thrown up in my mouth with that 'zinger' of a line. If I'd watched anymore I'd have no respect for myself. I'm guessing it gets better (from reading other reviews) but by this moment I loathed every character I would have been happy if they'd died in a burning inferno...the ...end...Was this review helpful to you?
