I wasn't even planning to watch this show, in all honesty. I went on Netflix because I was bored and clicked this because it had shown up and I randomly clicked it, not expecting much. But I'm so so glad I did because this show was absolutely beautiful and so touching - it's definitely at the top of my list of favourite shows.

To some people, my rating might seem exaggerated as to them it may not be the best and it may even be unhelpful, but to me, this was legit the best Japanese drama (or any drama actually) I had ever seen. Switched brings about the issue of envy and societal expectations of a person, especially girls. Though the plot was straightforward, there were other issues that it tackled - these are problems in our society today and so I really appreciated that.

The plot was interesting and didn't feel cliche at all. There were times (mostly towards the end) where I bawled my eyes out because, not only could I relate with Umine, but the show did a perfect job of conveying the emotions and the problems and made every character stand out in their own unique way.

This show - mostly Umine's character - really hit home with me. I've gone through some pretty dark times like her myself, so I found myself empathising with her when I probably shouldn't have, but I just couldn't hate her character. I just felt bad.

The music in this show was outstanding!! It was dramatic but so emotional as well, which I loved. It also went with the pace of the show perfectly - every time the music played it was during the most dramatic of moments and it just worked. The music was part of the reason why I cried during the last few episodes because it's just so moving.

All the characters were portrayed beautifully and the actors were amazing! I loved them all and though there were times of frustration when it came to the whole love thing, they were still just so loveable. Kaga was my favourite and you will fall in love with him throughout the whole show. The actors should be praised for their superb acting - they're so versatile when it comes to acting in a different way and with a different personality - they executed it perfectly too. I

have never binge-watched a show in my life but I did with this one and I was wishing for it to never end! 6 episodes feel like its nothing but it was paced perfectly in my opinion - it wasn't unnecessarily dragged on and nothing was left abandoned. It's a short watch but there are issues and emotions that a show with 16 episodes probably couldn't even convey! The ending was simple and sweet but it was also a teensy bit disappointing for me....but, overall, the show was amazing! I definitely recommend this show for people to watch as it's worth your time. :D

This movie was beautiful and adorable. The acting was brilliant and it actually moved me - Hase is the sweetest, most caring guy there is and he's just so cheerful that anyone would be happy just to stand next to him. The music was lovely and so delicate that I wanted to keep listening to it, and it matched the movie very well! What amazed me was the main character's acting: I've seen movies with this actor and in them, he's usually very arrogant or cold-hearted but in this, man, it just shows how awesome of an actor he is! He's such a versatile actor considering he adapted to the goofy-airhead character really well. People should watch this, if not for the story, for this guy's acting skills and the way he's able to showcase different emotions and expressions that will make you feel for him and root for him the entire time.

The only thing that irked me was the ending, which practically ruined things for me. It was very unsatisfying BUT I still liked the plot and the acting: it didn't ruin my whole experience and overall, it was such a sweet movie that I would watch again if I have some spare time on my hands.

I decided to watch this purely because I had watched the anime (and I don't usually watch anime so surprise surprise) and it wasn't that bad. Of course, there were some things that I didn't really like, like how some certain scenes were rushed and how the plot wasn't really explored, hence the rewatch value being low.

There were some important bits from the anime that the movie didn't have so it was kind of frustrating knowing there were particular scenes that I liked that didn't end up being shown in the live action adaptation. However, it still had its funny moments and the casts slightly exaggerated acting is definitely amusing and will have you laughing at some points!

Overall, it was bearable - it's something to watch when you have a little bit of time to spare, but it's also not something that will leave a lasting impression on you.

Kingyo Club was a really enjoyable, yet short, drama. Honestly, the reason I even decided to watch it was because I was bored, so I didn't really have any expectations but boy did it blow my mind.

The music at the beginning and during the dramatic scenes was really moving, though it didn't really fit in with the drama at some points, I still loved it. The actors are fairly young, but they're a breath of fresh air, to be honest. The acting was natural and so was the drama itself, which was surprising to me because I used to think that Jdramas were all about standing out - but this was completely different. It even managed to make me cry, to be honest.  The things that the drama tackled was relatable in a sense, to those who are in high school or have been through high school and have experienced things like bullying, neglect, rejection, heartbreak and other things.

It was because of this drama that I found out about Ryo Yoshizawa (the fact that he exists lol) and his works! So, a huge thumbs up for that! Anyway, the last two episodes were really tough to watch because it was RAW and not subbed, so I had to watch the 9th episode without any subs...it was a major let down so I hope someone subs it soon so more people can watch it!

Oh, and a complaint I have about this show,  is the fact that it was too short!!! There were so many things they could have done if it was 15 episodes in total, not 10. I just felt like some things were a bit too rushed. >.< but despite that, I was satisfied with the drama as a whole AND it's only about 20 minutes so it won't take long to finish at all!!

So, all in all, I think this drama deserves more attention and everyone should watch this drama, for sure!
