Starts boring, then interesting then boring again??

The first time I watched Episode One, I was bored. Not really bored but just bored, but since EP2 was coming out in two days I said "let's give this drama a chance." And it was amazing! For the first part...

The story is suppose to be a life as a idol, or at least that's what I think. Does this drama portrayed that? I'm not an idol so how would I know? But I could say the drama handled it pretty okay? I was thinking the show would put limelight into the idol life and how hard and stressful it is. I mean it did that, but only for some scenes. Most of this turned into a rom-com.
But that's not my main problem. It's just some relationships I don't like and have a problem with.

MA-HA AND RYEOK (Main couple)
I could say they're pretty cute. The only problem I have with them (well really Ryeok) is how Ryeok breaks up with her (Ma-ha) EP9 because he's worried about Shax's. Then literally the NEXT. The NEXT episode, they get back together? I get they're 12 episodes but come on, what the hell was the point of the break up then? For tension? If so, their was barely any. I get the breakup's are suppose to be like a "Oh my gosh NOOO!" for the viewers moments but if they broke up, at least give them 2 episodes to get back together? The romance with them felt kind of force? I did admit they're pretty cute but the first few episodes I couldn't really say 'aww" to a lot of their moments up until EP4 or EP5.

RI AH AND LEE HYUN
I personally can't say much about them, they barely get any screen time soo... They would look cute together though. Don't really love them but don't hate them either.

HYUN JI AND YOO JUN
Oh my gosh does this couple suck. No offense to any of you guys who like this couple nor any disrespect to the actors but I see no chemistry at all. It's obvious Hyun Ji has feelings for Yoo Jun but him? No. It looks like he doesn't even like her romantically. They barely even had interactions together, unless it was just him asking about Ma-ha. I really didn't like these two, by EP9 I was hoping they would get more development as a couple but nope. nope nope nope, did they not.

LA LI MA
I love her so much! Her character AND her actor! At first, you probably think (if you didn't read the webtoon) that Li Ma will be the antagonist/jealous SFL (second female lead) of the show. But it's really not like that!

FLAWS
Only flaw I can find (other than some of the actors acting) is the relationship between Hyun Ji and Yoo Jun. And some more duration time into the episode would've been great for character/relationship development. I mean that's a lot of problems with 12 episode shows, character development.

SHAX'S FANS
Oh my gosh do I hate the main three fan girls. So annoying! But they also do show something, They show a lot of real fans out their of real idols. Some fans actually do stalk their favorite idol and get way to much into their personal lives. As much as I hated the Shax fans, I'm glad they got showed.

EUNJO AND ANNIE
Honestly, yes they have a sad story but their plot reminds me of At a distance, Spring is Green with Yeo Jun's family problems barely being apart of the plot even though there's a lot of flashbacks. The same thing with Eunjo and Annie, their plot is barely brought up and resolved easily by 2 episodes.

Honestly when it starts getting boring is around EP10. Even though their was some REALLY GOOD ost in that episode!

The acting was good! I willingly just watched this because it was an upcoming drama, knowing none of the actors! Some scenes had some average acting, some bad and some good.

The Music. OH. MY. IS IT GOOD! I love ALLL of the ST (sound tracks) played in this show! This is mostly why I'm giving it what I gave it. I’m mostly biased here since I'm a huge k-pop fan.

Am I rewatching? Yes but not all episodes. As I did state I didn't like a lot of the relationships here. I'll rewatch episodes like EP4, EP7 and more.

SUMMARY
In total, the show is about a rising girl group, a popular boy group, and an average boy group all trying to make it bigger and bigger into the industry while obviously having a bit of drama and relationships on the side. I recommend to stay for the music if you hate the relationships as some relationships suck/have no development or are just average and have cute moments.

Anyway. Consider yourself lucky if you didn't watch this while it was airing, the torture of waiting every Friday for 1 episode. ONE.

Not Your Basic.

Wow! What a ride for me, as this show just ended I'm disappointed it did, as I've been watching since the first Episode.

Story: The story is about two mains both having some kind of mental issue. The female lead, has trauma while the male lead has anger issues. They at first hate each other thinking the other is a weirdo and tries to avoid them. Plain right? It sounds plain but it works out great! The show actually did a great job handling comedy and trauma. When I watched the trailer when it first came out I already knew this show was going to be funny, but I never thought trauma and more sensitive topics would be involved. There's also a side story with a part time worker! I personally think their should've been more screen time with her and her ending seemed kind of rushed so that's really what's stopping me from giving this a 10.

Acting; WOW! Best actors I've seen! If I ever see Oh Yeon So or Jung Woo in another project I would defo watch off the bat for them! Min-kyung's ex boyfriend played well! As well as the part time worker.

Music: Liked it! The music, I didn't really noticed throughout the show expect the opening music? But that's it, everything seemed to fade in the background.
Edit (9/10) : I actually spotted one of the OST's on Spotify and I actually change my rating from an 8 to an 9! The OST is pretty good! I guess I really didn't pay attention to it lol

Rewatch Value, DEFINTELY watching this again when I can!

In total, don't assume this is just a comedy, first episodes might make it seem it's a un funny comedy but I think if you watch until Episode 5, still don't like, then you can drop but other than that, enjoy!

Too much romance instead of development.

At a Distance, Spring is Green. My first thoughts? The poster looked like something from a 2010's show, which isn't bad but seeing a yellow haired male lead made me just not like Park Ji Hoon's (Yeo Joon's) look at all. But, I started liking his look later on in the show.
Just a note, I have never saw the webtoon before so this is solely based on the drama itself.

CHARACTERS/STORY
MALE LEADS
Yeo Joon and his family were brought into the limelight in starting episodes, but after that, where are they? Yeo Joon's current family problems are faded into the background after introducing it one episode, and we just kept getting flashbacks. Until they decided to bring back his family problems second to last episode. Beside his family problems, Yeo Joon isn't that bad of a character.

Soo Hyun, not bad either but not my favorite. Soo Hyun starts warming up to Yeo Joon the last minute, having some/barely any scenes with them. I just don't really know what to talk about him.

Chan Ki, boring! And they at least try to redeem his character soon in the story, He barely gets screen time. And if he does, sure he has his haha moments but that's it.

FEMALE LEADS
So Bin, not gonna lie, after seeing Kang Min Ah in True Beauty I was pretty excited she'll get her own main role, but her character's a bore. Don't get me wrong, it's not like she's just standing their all episodes but she's just a bore? Too nice maybe? She does have a backstory to her past but that's only for 1-2 episodes in the middle of the show.

Mi-joo, boring. I won't lie, her character COULD'VE been better with some screen time and development, we barely know anything about her to even declare if she's good or not. Only thing I know is that she has good fashion sense. She also had to many scenes "drooling" over Soo-hyun. But I'll give props to screenwriters for not making her some cocky rich girl as I thought she would've been.

Young Ran, maybe the most interesting? But not really also because lack of screen time, all we know is that she's Soo-hyun's longest friend, she's strong physically, and that's about it.

SOBIN AND YEO JUN'S ROMANCE
I personally think they're romance was pretty cute but took too much screen time to develop most characters. Talking about you the most Mi-joo.

SOO HYUN'S LOVE TRIANGLE
What an annoying triangle I've ever seen. One is to scared to admit their feelings and the other one get's too hook up on Soo-hyun thinking they know everything about him while barely having any interactions with him.

SOO HYUN AND YEO JOON'S BROMANCE/FRIENDSHIP
Love, love, LOVEEE! IT! I recommend you stay to watch these two if you don't like the romance part, although some episode they barely get any scenes at all with each other.

ACTING
The acting was great! Not enough to give a 10 though but great!

MUSIC
Loved! I mostly have a lot of them on my playlist.

WILL I REWATCH?
Specific episodes only.

SUMMARY!!
This show was amazing at first to me, what was missing was character development/likability in a lot of characters, wasted scenes with So-bin and Yeo Jun's romance, Soo-hyun's stupid love triangle, and again. WASTED SCENES! Although my rating isn't that high I do recommend that you check this out as it only has 12 episodes, I think it should've had 16 or just more time duration!
They're other things I would've talked about like Mi-joo and Soo-hyun's interactions, Jun-wan and Yeo Joon and more but I think you'll make your own opinion on those once you choose to watch it or not.

basic story line done right

I have NEVER written a review while a show was airing. I would usually wait for all episodes to be released and for it to be finished airing. But I personally NEED to tell people to watch this show, even though it's still in the process of airing.

Bad Buddy is about two boys who basically had no choice but to hate each other from birth. Their families have been hating each other ever since a certain incident. So, the mains, Pat and Pran. Have been "enemies" ever since birth. They never thought of being friends once in their lifetime. Does the plot sound basic? Yes. But does it mean it's bad? No. Basic plots can be good and amazing if it's done right. And with Bad Buddy, they've done it amazing.
The mains Pat and Pran are funny together! hilarious I could even say! I laugh at least every episode! Or most. Bad Buddy will have you CRAVING for the next episode. It'll be on your mind 24/7.

Now to the acting. I've personally never seen Ohm or Nanon in any drama I've watched. But just from this, they're official on my favorite actors list! I would go more in depth into why they're there but that would contain spoiler. I personally a certain episode will make a click go into your head. To see that they're acting is superb. The side characters aren't stargazing but Ohm and Nanon just make the whole acting category a 10.

Music? Hmmm, never really thought about it? It blends good in the background though! I haven't noticed a soundtrack that was terrible.

If you're thinking to past this because you're too busy or the time length is long for me. Do, NOT skip this! I literally just put this show on my list on a wimp, I didn’t think it would be THIS amazing! This is one of the bl's that would make your heart explode with cute/sweet/wholesome moments!

So close to becoming my favorite.

The show is about the male lead having a phobia and the female lead (at first) being the main trigger to his phobia. Over time they grow closer and y'know. I feel like other than that, there's nothing else.

I personally find this show pretty light to watch, meaning that you could either watch to past time or just to watch while doing something in the background. Not something to get really attached to. I RARELY see any dramas about germ phobias at all! As this was my first one. And I haven't watched the Korean version of this but I could say that the story was pretty good!
I personally think the last two Episodes were boring, I won't spoil but their were boring to the point where I looked off my computer screen for some time to do other things.

I also have to point out the second lead, a lot of people state that he's annoying and they hate him but it's eh for me really. I do agree he was annoying at times but he wasn't that bad.
(Edit 7/23/21: Nevermind, I remember me skipping/looking away whenever I saw him on screen 85% of the time)

The relationship between Renqi and Shaung was so cute! Loved them! I do find their relationship kind of draggy though.

The acting was amazing to me! I think Jasper played his role really well, especially in Episode 20, their was a scene where I really LOVED Jasper's acting at that moment.

The music was AMAZING!! I loved it so much! Pretty light and catchy!

Am I rewatching?
It's an 8 since I would re watch but not ALL episodes, some episodes were really useless to me.

In total, would've been my favorite BUT some episodes were meaningless and the last two episodes got me bored. I have to add about the side couples, they were okay. At first, didn't care for either as I thought they were annoying but I like both of them! The more you watch this the more the plot is predictable at this point, will miss this show though! Been watching since it aired :)
Give this is a try if you're looking for a light rom com! Nothing with action or gore much. Though you probably will find yourself bored of it episodes later.

A Disney Movie That Became Draggy.

Now, this could've literally been a Disney movie. The whole story line even sounds like it's from a Disney movie.

Like a lot of people, like me. We loved the show at first, the whole doom at your door helping a girl that is suppose to die in 100 days. You're expecting a sad or bittersweet ending right? This is literally something like a Disney Movie so what do you think the ending would be? From the beginning I knew what ending it would be, seeing Park Bo Young was in this drama and all her dramas have the same ending. The ending seemed unrealistic per say? But anyways, the main couple? Cute! I won't lie, this is mainly why I'm giving it what I gave it today, the couple, actors, aesthetic of the show and music. Without those, ratings would've been more lower and I'm sure of it.

Starting from the middle (Episode 10) is when I really started to change my rating from a 9.5 to an 8 then 8.5 then 10 and repeat. The writers didn't really have to do what they did towards the middle/end of the show. I personally think the ending could've been shorter. An hour seemed to long so I skipped a lot of scenes.
Now let me talk about the second couple. Just one word. DRAGGY. Like REALLY draggy to the point where I didn't care whether they got together or not. The love triangle with the second couple also gets mad draggy, like REALLY. To the point where I'm very interesting in them, then interested, then uninterested, and repeat.

Actors? AMAZING! I won't lie, I love Park Bo Young and now Seo In Guk & Lee Soo Hyuk, they're the only reason why I watched the show and continued to. But are they worth it? Yes they are, the actors are amazing at what they do! Can I mention Kevin's scene (Tak Dong Young's Aunt's Boyfriend) made me cringe? Not that he's a bad actor it's just that I cringe whenever I heard somebody talk English in a kdrama lol.

Music? Also AMAIZNG! I'm positive every track I loved and still do love!

I would rewatch this but only for specific episodes.

In total, I would say the actors and music make the whole show, the writers made it a trainwreck in the middle of the show, then tried to pick it back up towards the end. I would say to watch but it might not be your favorite towards the ending. As I personally think the hate for the show is kind of justifiable, but the show isn't all bad as much say. Can I also add this show could've had 12 episodes? For a trainwreck that had 16 episodes made me think it'll be amazing with no mess ups.

I would recommend you this show for the actors and chemistry between the two couples. But the fantasy aspect? You'll probably dislike it the most ( like I do. )

Not the cliche I thought it would be.

This story. I mean, reading the plot story sounds interesting yet it's so cliche? Now there's nothing wrong with cliches, but this one just didn't do it for me.

STORY/MAIN LEADS
The story is about a Rich CEO as the male lead and a "poor" female lead wanting to buy a house for herself. As I think that's her goal in life at the moment. They first meet when Ja Sung is kicking out her house, terrible meeting right? Well wait till you find out they actually work together! As a Boss/Worker relationship.
Now obviously, this is a cliche so the ML and FL are bound to date at some point. What opinions do I have on their relationship? It's cute! But when I think about it, both characters really have no personality?

JA SUNG (Male Lead)
Now. Geez. Is he the worst ML with no personality or what?! In the beginning of the show he's just rude as hell. Which isn't anything to like off a character. Sure you could say when they start dating he has personality but I agree to disagree. He's cute as it's his first time dating but other than that. No personality for me.

YOUNG-WON (Female Lead)
Two words. To Nice. Just to nice! I sometimes dislike leads that are way to nice and have barely anything to them! Sure you could say she has moments where she isn't being pushed over but dang do I just not like her. There's nothing wrong with being nice but just nothing special!!

SUPPORT CHARACTERS
Oh my gosh I got so much beef with these support characters, they're so annoying! Sometimes they're nice and other times they're just assholes! The one with the mask is SOOO IRREVERENT. Just SO un needed even though she tries to get in some scenes the last couple of episodes. The girl that's a fan of Young Won ain't thatt bad but so un needed! The ONLY support character I can say "i'll let you slide" is Ui-joo! (Young won's friend) Only likable side character for me! Maybe a bit of Editor Nam? But that idiot LITERALLY talks about his girlfriend (cutie pie) for HALF the show! Literally.

SECONDARY COUPLE (Young Won's friend and Editor Nam)
I actually like them to be honest! I think it was kind of obvious though from the beginning? But still! There's some flaws with em but they're still good!

YOUNG WON AD JA SUNG EPISODE 12 (Spoiler Obviously like what??)
This ESPECIALLY needed an category. Episode 12 Ja-sung breaks up with Young Won because Gyeom get's into a car crash over drinking way to much. Now, what was the point of breaking up? Because of that?! It's not that deep though?? Yes he got into an accident but his love for her will end, it won't go on for years, maybe months but not years. Then this idiot Ja-sung is basically in a slump Episode 13 and thinks he can get Young Won back that quickly after letting her go for a dumb reason?? Their breakup was mad stupid, at least make the breakup make sense please.

MUSIC
This. This! Is the only reason why I'm at least giving it a 7.5. Or less it would've been a 7. The music is really good! I loved most of the sound tracks. This is only thing I'll be missing besides Jung So Min

REWATCH VALUE
Most characters annoyed the hell out of me most scenes so I probably ain't rewatching.

ACTORS
Not bad! Watched some behind the scenes on YT. I personally started liking Jung So Min after this and now started watch more of her projects. Kim Ji Suk did good for never seeing him as a main before! Gum Joo did good! I liked him in extra-ordinary you so him being here surprised me.

SUMMARY
Honestly. This is just a kind of normal cliche with two couples both developing their relationship step by step. I won't judge people giving it a 10 or 9 but I think it's over-hyped for me, and NO I don't hate cliches! I actually gave SIMTAF an 8.5, don't think I'm being biased :)

Sweet Cliché! Second Couple Redemption?

The show, basically what you expect form the title. A contract relationship, now let me say, ever since that one show "I hear You" I HATED contract relationships with marriage involved. But this show, made me kind of like contract relationship with marriage involved. Although this show did drag out a certain thing.

The story was alright, the male lead was a d*ck at first, obvious, then became soft. The female lead, eh? Like I don't know what to say about her other than her being a huge eater? That's much, she was weak at first and kind of became strong towards the end? Still weak though but just got a tiny tiny TINY bit stronger.
The whole second couple stich was done so bad. Would've gave a 9 but those two just made me give it what I gave it today. I also personally think they tried to make EVERYBODY and meaning EVERYBODY have a happy ending. They even had Geum Young's ex manager have some "good" to her? I knew it was cliché but making everybody have a good ending? boring much tbh.
The whole JJ jealous of Hoo Joon got dragged out, too far. Episode 10 and the plot with JJ, Hoo Joon, and Inhyung got no where, JJ still hating him, etc. And they try letting people feel bad for JJ. I personally think it worked a bit for me but not all the way.

The acting was alright! By the way, people hating on Choi Soo Hyung, have you guys seen her on Run On? She's literally TWO different characters! Loved her especially in Run On. Okay you don't have to like her role here but come on, you're over the top if you hate her acting, it ain't that bad. I literally only came to watch this show for HER yet didn't regret it.

The music? I don't know why people hate the music, maybe because I'm young but the music isn't that bad, I especially loved the intro music and always loved dancing to it every morning watching this show.

I would definitely re watch this show! The development in the male lead I could watch all day! Besides him I could re watch for Chan Sung over and over!
In total, this is light and fluffy ig but it's just cliché much so if you're not into this, don't even think of watching and giving it a one knowing you hate these kinds of shows.

Family, Youth, Romance, Drama.

BEST SHOW EVER!
Let me just say I haven't watched Reply 1988 or 1994 yet but this is so far my favorite reply series!

Story: AMAZING! Yet it's so plain and realistic. It's about 6 friends becoming a group in high school and disconnecting 6 years later, still having the same dynamic they had years ago. Anybody in real life could have this story, that's how realistic it is! The main couple, ADORABLE! Shipped them from Episode 1 off the bat, I thought they lived together at first though lol. I also love how they added a LGBTQ+ character in the show! I absolutely ADORE Jun-hee <3 He's so cute! I also LOVED Sung-jae, the funniest one in the group besides Yoon Jae. Even though the romance is slow, like VERY SLOW. Slower than Fight For My Way, I still LOVED it!

Acting: Oh My Gosh. AMAZING! I really believed that the 6 friends are actually friends! I believed the main couples interest in each other, same with the second couple as well! The supposed "second male lead's" acting. GEEZ. Tae-woong's actor is AMAZING!! I LOVEEE Hak-chan's actor to the core! I actually beileved he was scared of girls and was addicted to p*rn. I first wanted to watch for Seo In Guk but NAH I could watch for EVERY actor in this show! They ALL did so well! If I ever see them in a new show, automictically putting it on my plan to watch and FAST.

Music: LOVVVEEE IT! The intro music is so bop! I could listen to it on repeat! The background music and also amazing the relaxing. I also loved the over used sound effects lol.

Re watch Value; Would DEFO re watch again! The six friend's adventures together and apart is both so heartwarming, fun and wholesome! Will re watch at least once a month till I remember every single scene in detail.

In total, this is one of the best comedy, youth, friendship, romance, drama EVER!! I consider you to watch this unless you hate what genres I just mentioned. Love this show to death man.

How do you keep a viewers interest?

For somebody who literally gave this is 10 when it was starting, I'm not that surprised on my rating being down... oh and I haven't written a review since at least early August so bear with me.

Police University is about the male lead, Sun Ho. Who is going to Police University mainly because of his crush. The female lead, Kang Hee! Then he's Dong Man, another male lead that's wayy older than the rest of the students in the university. He's been a police officer since! I personally think the story is just plain, like it's not so bad that you pause every scene, but it's not so good to be so exicted for another episode now that the show's done being aired.

When I first started the show, I was excited! Most people say the first episodes were slow but I think they were fine enough to make me excited! Somewhere around episode 9 per say is when the hype died down.... Maybe because I was behind episodes a bit? But when I caught up, it just got really boring...

I just had to put the love triangle in it's own category.. I mean, what even IS this love triangle?? Min Kyu has NO personality at all! Other than just having a crush on Kang Hee,. I think Hometown Cha Cha Cha did it better than this- I know I'm comparing two different shows right now but... this whole love triangle was and is a mess! Not even feeling a teeny bit bad for Min Kyu.

The acting? Oh my gosh, Jin Young.... where do I start man... at first, I thought he was actually alright, but no.... Ever since episode 10 or 11 I started realizing how bad this acting was... this is no shade to anybody who likes him! You can like whatever actors you like, I just... don't... Other than that, the acting was average as a whole. Minus Jin Young. And I just found out he's in MFFL?! I literally watched that and he was kinda good!

The music was pretty average... I bumped the score up a bit because of that one track called "Winners." It's pretty catchy!

I'm not re watching this, there's no way...

What this show lacked mostly was viewers interest. I don't how they did it, but they did.

But in general, the show is just average. They're WORSE shows than this that I won't even get into. Like I said, it's not so bad but it's not so good either.... I feel like some people in the comment section are being too extra.... if this was released in 2019 then I don't think a lot of people would complain as much as right now. I recommend you to watch if you either have nothing to watch or you want more things on your completed list! And I would also recommend to watch in 2x speed. Maybe 1.5x

Yawn, See You Never!!

Interesting beginning! When I was watching while it aired I couldn’t wait till the next episode. Then, around Episode 9 is where it started to fall off. Of course, the drama isn’t exactly going to follow every plot of the webtoons but, See You In My 19th Life added unnecessary drama to move the plot.

Examples:
— Aunt getting sick
— Ji-eum Bam having to erase all her memories from her past life

And much more. My problem which these plots were that, what’s to Ji-eum Bam without her past memories? It just makes her flat and bland. Other than that, it became very boring and dramatic after Episode 9 and the ending wasn’t very satisfying.

Do watch if you want, but avoid if you don’t like unnecessary and unexplained plots later on.

Love Alarm Did it. They made like no main character in the show at all.

I already wrote a review on LA2's (Love Alarm 2) page. But I'm here to talk about the 3 of the main roles.

Jo-jo: One of the WORST FL's I could ask for. First, she cheats on her boyfriend by kissing Sun-oh. It was clear Jojo never loved her first boyfriend we saw, (I forgot his name) I have NO CLUE why she never broke up with him in the first place. Basically leading him on. Then don't even get my started with her relationship with Sun-oh. She broke up with Sun-oh for a lousy reason. Because she was scared and that she couldn't deal with the damn problem. She literally ran away from the boy who loved her the most at that time.

Hye-young: Don't even get my started on this mf. THIS DUDE WAS A LITERAL SHADOW IN SEASON ONE. Meaning that he barely had ANY screen time, not even with Jo-jo. And let me remind you, she's the supposed Male Lead. WHAT MAIN LEAD IS GONE THE WHOLE DAMN SEASON?! I swear this mf was lurking in the dark. And barely had ANY communication with Jo-jo at all! I assumed Hye-young was going to be that one shy second lead guy who was the friend of the female lead's but no. Hye-Young is a nice guy but to be a male lead? Not much. I would prefer him as a second lead or even a support role at most.

Sun-Oh: Ok. People might not find anything wrong with Sun-oh but their is one thing that I hated about him. When it came to friendship or love. He picked love. Meaning that Sun-oh and Hye-young's relationship was eventually broken up in Season Two. Sun-oh KNEW from the start that Hye-Young liked Jo-jo yet he tells her that they kissed. What kind of friend is that? You might say that Hye-Young literally told Sun-oh that he didn't like Jo-jo with a blank face. But they were literally friends for YEARS. Since they were kids! And you're telling me Sun-oh can't tell when Hye-young's lying? Okay.

In the end, Jo-jo was a fucked up FL, she could've been better but wasn't. She ended up with the soft guy who literally lurked around the shadows throughout Season One. Nobody deserved Jo-jo in my opinion. Two cute guys ruined their friendship over a dumb FL who doesn't consider anybody's feelings to heart and always ran away from problems cause she couldn't face them without somebody protecting her.

Don't even think about Love Alarm 1

Honestly, I feel SO BAD for the people for waited two damn years for this ending. I only waited a few weeks but it's not compared to what other people had to wait for.
Let me start off with Season One. This was my first kdrama so I had zero idea what were ML's, SML's, FL's and SML's. (Male Lead, Second Male Lead, Female Lead, Second Female Lead) I initially thought Sun-oh and Jojo were gonna have this happy ending sh*t because they got together in Season One. It wasn't clear that Hye Young was even a first lead in my opinion. Throughout Season One, Hye Young and Jojo had no screen time with each other. So I was puzzled on even how they got together out of the blue in Season Two. Honestly Sun-oh was some what of a bad friend. Sun-oh knew that Hye Young liked Jojo, no matter how much Hye Young said he didn't. Yet kissed her. Not saying I ship Hye Young and Jojo because those two have no chemistry with each other. They only have one thing, is that they're hard workers. That's it. Honestly, for my first kdrama that I watched months ago. It wasn't all that bad. It taught me that I have to now watch the hell out for other kdramas with the ML and FL.
Honestly, unless you didn't ship Jojo and Sun-oh, watch this if you want something to laugh at. And no I'm not giving it a bad review because Jojo and Sun-oh didn't get together. It's just that this shit felt like a different drama.
ALSO! Jojo was one of the worst FL's I've come across from. In Season One AND Two. Jojo NEVER told Sun-oh the reason they broke up. Jojo walked away from him for a lousy reason. My point across that Jojo never cared about Sun-oh's feelings to beginning with. I'm glad Sun-oh was at least with somebody who didn't give up on him. Not saying I love Yuki and Sun-oh but I'm happy for Sun-Oh.
-- Also, this is an old review so I might not agree with this so much but I'll keep it here and edit it sometimes! (6/25)

Taecyeon fans, RUN!!

Lawwdd I’m upset. Even Taecyeon couldn’t save this drama, and I watched solely for him.

Heartbeat is a drama about a vampire who’d slept in a coffin almost for 100 years, then it got opened by a average (well not so average) girl a day early, and now he is half vampire, half human. The two share the manison and open a guest house along the way. The plot might sound interesting, but trust me it is not worth it.

Firstly, I have to talk about the second leads. I think Haewon (SFL) might be the most annoying yet. Haewon is in love with Woohyeol (ML) because he mistakes her for his past and first lover, Haesun. Haewon acts like a brat that’s in a high school drama, which she would’ve fit in perfectly if i’m being honest. While Dosik, (SML) does not. Although he is more tolerable than Haewon, (in my opinion) he still is delusional. He insists that he is protecting Inhae from Woohyeol, (FL) even though she directly TELLS him that she is safe and needs no protection!! Overall, they’re both overbearing to watch, im even confused how they got so much screentime. They’re so inlove with the main leads so early into the show even though they’ve had few interactions.

Secondly, the rules play a part in this drama. There is this cat-man that tells Woohyeol these rules about the coffin he slept in to become human. Because apparently, no regular human can open the coffin, so he’s implying that Inhae is irregular. Basically what you have to understand is that Cat-man makes these dumb rules along the series that make me even more confused because he never mentions it before.

Thirdly, the guest house is SOO UNNECESSARY. They spend around 2-3 episodes mainly on the guest house for no reason! Just for a couple of guest to show up, and they don’t really even matter.

This isn’t really a problem but, main lead’s aren’t really doing it for me. I mostly think this is because they got no screentime as a couple or just liking eachother, half was spent on the guesthouse and the other was Inhae hating or being scared of Woohyeol. There characters don’t seem much in love, they give me a friend dynamic more than a romantic one. I think they have their cute mom though so, that’s something.

Overall, I made this review to just rant on how annoying the Second Leads were, and to tell Taecyeon fans that this is So Not Worth it, at all.

VERY Long Fever Dream.

I'm so mad that I don't even want to write a full review at that...

In the beginning during episodes 1-5, I enjoyed the show. I was confused a little bit but still enjoyed! But somewhere in the middle just ticked me off. Like... what the hell is even happening?!

The story is basically about time traveling at this point. The female lead sucks a bit, the male lead is way too nice. No personality after that. The second female lead is just annoying. Woo Do hwan's character was the only one I enjoyed. In fact, he's on my new favorite actors list.

What's even happening in the story?? I have so many questions! How did so many people time travel?? How did it even work?? Why is Luna even involved??

The romance. Oh. My. IT SUCKED! When did they fall in love?! Didn't Tae Eul literally not like Lee Gon the first few episodes?! When did they start dating!? Like. What?

OH! And DONT let me talk about the villain or villains if their were more but, they SUCKED. THEY WERE SOOO BAD! Where they even a main??

The acting was average. Nothing made me feel emotional. Expect for that one scene with both of Woo Do Hwan's characters.

OST reminds me of Goblin but just way worse? It was alright though, nothing that made me die in the inside. I actually enjoyed 1 or 2 soundtracks

I am NEVER, repeating again, NEVER watching this again! Unless I wanna, 1, cringe, 2, change my score 3, just watch for my 3 favorite actors again, or 4, just for memories.

Finishing this show was like a chore. I won't lie, the endings did make me hooked for more even though I skipped basically 80% of the show.

This show is whole damn fever dream. it's like taking Benadryl one day and you dreamed about this. Then woke up and said "what the hell was that?"

Anyway, this show tried to be Goblin a bit, it failed. I don't recommend but if you are THAT much of a fan of any of the mains, check it out. Not even Lee Min Ho, Kim Go Eun or Woo Do Hwan could save this show.
