BETTER THAN PART 1! A GOOD REMAKE

As a huge La Casa De Papel fan, i was both anxious and excided to watch the remake. Part 1 was okay i have already write a review about it, but part 2 was phenomenal.

I actually believe that not only it was a great remake but if you compare it with the original it had better flow and depth, characters had better development, many things that the original did wrong the remake did right, the most important is that the characters were better written and the plot didnt had holes. I truly thing that if this one had come first, everyone would love it. Many think that a remake can never be good but this drama is the exeption.

The plot was the same but with added things that fix problems the original had, the relationship between the professor and the inspector and the romance between Tokyo and Rio etc. They included details that were very important after all and handle some things different. I dont want to spoil anything but i am glad they didnt keep some stuff same.

99% of the characters were better written and i liked them more, the 1% is the professor... I am sad that the only bad thing i could find is the professor, an icon og character that was ruined, i really dont know if the actor couldnt pull this off or if the og is to hard to imitated. Everyone else was amazing. One of the best things the remake did was adding Seoul, one of the best characters and badass af, i think some traits the original Tokyo had were given to Seoul. I am not going to write my thoughts on every character ( i have already write a review about part 1 that talks about characters and the north vs south plot).

I have to say this is a great remake and you should watch it regardless if you have watch the og or not.

TEARS EVERYWHERE! *FRIEND GOALS*

I really dont know where to start!
The truth is that even if it did broke my heart, i have some complains in terms of plot and screen time of some characters, but this show was really good and really made me realise that friendship is very important.
We know what is going to happen since episode 1 but it really didnt make me cry less, the tears where everywhere when i was watching the last episode (not only the last, i think i cried at least once at every episode, but in the last one i lost control).
The plot is very interesting but i think they could had handle some things better. I think they should had invested more in the friendship rather the relationships between the female leads and their love interests.
The acting was exeptional by everyone and i think that is why i cried so much... It felt too real...
The biggest problem in this show is the lack of fairness in terms of screen time between the main characters...
Mi Jo took why more screen time that she should, leaving Joo Hee far behind, Chan Young had a normal amount of scenes. You cant say that you have three main lead and that its a story about friendship and completly ignore one of them. The way they handle Joo Hee characters really pissed me off, she was no where to be found at times and even if it was mention how she felt left out, they never tried to fix it. Her storyline and her love interest was only shown in the first couple of episodes, after that nothing.
I enjoyed the relationships between the leads and the love interests, i think my favorite is between Chan Young and Jin Seok even if i thought i would hate them together at first, i just couldnt. I think that if Joo Hee and Hyun Joon had more screen time together they would have been my favorites but they didnt had proper set up, they kinda came out of the blue. I dont wanna talk about Mi Jo and Seon Woo, not because they werent cute ( they were) but they were EVERYWHERE.

A nice and heartbreaking story...

GREAT START BUT RUSHED AND UNSATISFIED ENDING

What can i say about this show? Firstly I found out about it because Park YooNa is one of my favorite actress and I adore her, even tho i am not very satisfied with how they handle her character, she had very strong scenes but most of them were for the sake of the plot and not for her character development, and her character had many potentions, she was basically the most interesting one. I believe that all the characters lack development exept Dae Il, also even tho the friendship and the relationships were interesting to watch they didnt really build any of it, i feel like all of the relations between the main eight are really rushed (exept Han Na coming into the group) but i guess it is the time jump that create this.
Secondly the entiry storyline was very interesting as an idea but i dont think they executed it good enough and thats why the last episodes felt so rushed. I am a person that loves plot twist and i enjoy when writers arent afraid to lose a character but i didnt like what they did here...
Lastly, they gave the main two characters way to much scenes... I know they are the main couple but due to this, all the other characters were left behind and since we are told we have eight main characters they should had given the same amount of screen time or at least something close.

Overall, it was a good show but with quite a few problems... The acting was good (many say that Daniel didnt executed his part correctly but for his first gig i think he was okay -not a previous fan-).
When i first started i was obssesed with it but after like 10 episodes i just felt that they didnt really try to evolve the characters enough and i was disappointed.

I do believe that it is a good show, but it had the potentions to be great... Unfortunately it didnt live to his full potention.

GOOD REMAKE, DOES JUSTICE TO THE ORIGINAL. BETTER RELATIONSHIPS THAN THE ORIGINAL

I have seen a lot of people say that this is bad remake and that the original is better, well its not surprise that the original will be better, guess what it was the main idea and the first one we watched, but actually i have to say that this is as good as the original. They have the same main idea and the same characters but is really interesting how they have change a lot of things both in the storyline (to be able to put their culture in) and their characters personalities. The whole north-south plot is so good, it gives more depth to the plot and makes everything more interesting, the way that even if they have union after many years they still dont trust each other is so sad to watch but so true at the same time. Its cool how they havent change the main storyline but at the same time they have create something different, not only with the south-north plot but with some main scenes for example the car chase, where the professor tries to destroy the car and the police is after him its far more badass here and the fact that Berlin himself told his name was really cool too. Actually there are many scenes that i liked better here.

The characters are different too, i fell like some of them just kept the name and not the trait from the original. For example Tokyo, she is a very controversial character in the original, she always cause trouble and didnt really listen to anyone, but here she is very loyal and she goes by the book. Berlin is not so different, but i do believe that they made him more evil, the fact we know his storyline makes him look capable for really terrible things. Rio seems more "smart" here, in the original he is like a child, not that he isnt acting like one here sometimes but somehow he gives more adult vibes. Nairobi is the only character i think they did wrong, she is way to arrogant and i prefer the original Nairobi who is more fun, maybe later we see more of her so i can change my mind. Helsinki and Oslo dont have many scenes yet to know. Denver and Moscow are the ones they match more to their characters in the original. The Professor here really lacks the charms, the original professor is an icon so its hard to make another icon, but this professor really doesnt even do 20% of the job, maybe its the actor that cant really do this character justice, i dont know, but i think its a huge mistake to not be able to make at least a decent professor. Woo Jin is like Raquel, but i think i actually prefer Woo Jin. Mu Hyeok is very interesting character and i find him one of the best additions to the show. I dont even wanna talk about Yeong Min, somehow he manage to make me hate him more than Arturito which is extremely difficult. Mi Seon is better than Monika for me, we actually see her have some second thoughts and try to push Denver away when she start feeling things, she is great. Anne is another character that is better here, Allison was a pain in the ass but with not much of a storyline, Anne here is 100% more of a badass even if she is annoying too.

One thing that i adored in the remake is the relationships. The fact they made the professor to have already a relationship with Woo Jin is so clever, i always thought how stupid it was for Raquel to trust some in such a little time, but here they built this in something better. Denver and Mi Seon are like the original, but here i like how they make them question their attraction to each other. Tokyo and Rio are a slowburn and i love it, in the original we didnt watch them to form a normal relationship, here they are friends first (well Rio has a crush on Tokyo). I believe the remake create better relationships and stronger.

Overall, its a good drama, somethings were better planned in the remake, but the fact they couldnt make a decent professor really disappoints me. Its fun to watch how the have change somethings, actually more than some, i really believe that this remake is better than what people say, they are just bias.

BREATHTAKING EMOTIONAL ROLLERCOASTER

It’s a great show. Amazing acting skills by everyone and a great story with plot twists. I cried at least ones in each episode, especially as the show progressed. I didn’t got tired at all and watched all episodes in three days, I truly didn’t want it to end. I will definitely miss it.
It talks about important stuff like mental health, disability and abuse.
It’s not just a love story is about family, and that’s what makes it one of the best Kdramas I have watched yet.
I really believe that nothing will top this in my heart at least for the next couple of months or maybe years, because isn’t stereotypical, it’s a punch in the guts.
An emotional roller coaster that will blow your mind.

SO MANY BEAUTIFUL COUPLES!

I had many expectations when i first saw the cast, plot etc, the first two episodes really disappointed me, i even consider to stop watching it, but i am glad i didnt because it gets better. I believe that it had more potentionals but it was good enough (it could have been exeptional tho). I have some issues, especially in the two first episodes, like many other fans had, i found some things unneseccary and maybe i little be disturbing but i am glad that after episode 3 everything was smooth.
One thing i didnt like at the end was that some plots werent evolve much, like they just forgot about them after a while, but still it doesnt make the drama less good.

The plot in general was kinda basic, another rom com about two people that fell in love etc, but what surprised me was that they kept it very real without uneseccary drama, the main couple didnt broke up without a reason just so they could move the plot, every time something "bad" happened that could effect their relatioship they resolve it fast, they had great communication and that is something that rom coms dont get right most of the times, they just drag a storyline. But here they focused on the healthy relationship they had after they started date and actually they were really cute together, all of their scenes were so good and had the right amount of romance and comedy.
Actually all of the couple were just so good. I am not going to say who ended up with who (to avoid spoilers) but i really loved them all. My favorite was the lawyer one (if you have see it you know), the manager one was adorable and dont let me start on YuuuuNa aka national fairy one, i loved how they treated this couple. I love when dramas have many couples, especially cute ones like here. A drama with multiple couples never gets boring, cause even if you lose interest in one you always have the others.

The actors were great, everyone did an amazing job. I am not going to lie i think Kim Young Do stole the show, he is already well known but here he just nailed this, his facial expressions were always on point and his acting made me wanna watch him in another rom com (comedy really suits him). Lee Sung Kyung was very good too. I also adored Lee Si Woo she played the snobbish role so good (with less experience)... All were very good.

This drama actually highlights the problematic lifestyle kdrama actors have. They are humans too but fans tend to forget, its really annoying to see all this celebrites get hate for stuff like dating, fans dont own them, they have a life and if you really care about your idol, you would want him/her to be happy. Anyway, i get really angry everytime i think about all this.

Overall, the drama was good. Had great scenes and chemistry between the characters. If you want to watch a cute romance this is for you.

MASTERPIECE! NEW CRUSH UNLOCKED= MRS GU

This drama is the definition of a great character driven drama. The drama doesnt have a specific plot exept of course for the fact that Mrs Gu comes into their lives. Even without a main plot this drama manage to make you fell in love with it and the characters, it can make you excited to watch more, to watch all of the characters struggle in a very realistic way. There is nothing that i can find unrealistic about this drama, each character stayed true to each self till the end, most dramas create characters and as the plot progress they change them, they make them more soft or more loving etc, but this drama just kept everyone the same, maybe with some differences but no one change entirely and that is exactly what makes this so realistic.

The characters were so well written with great depth and the chemistry between all of them was great. But what surpriced me the most is how relatable they all are. We watched them in every aspect of their lives, when they were sad and lonely but also when they felt loved and happy, There are not enough words to express how well written and interesting all of them were, i will always have them in my heart, i learn a lot of things from them, the way they talked about their feelings made me realise that sometimes i have the same thoughts (especially with Mi Jung) and that it is okay to struggle sometimes, if only you have at least 5 minutes of happiness each day.
The stories the three siblings had were so interestings. My personal favorite was Mi Jung story mostly because not only i can relate to her the most but also because her story had Mrs Gu aka the NVP of the whole drama, my new crush, they storyline and the whole worship thing was so beautiful, how they felt whole when they were together and miserable when they didnt had each other, how they always talk about their feelings and never judge each other, omg they were so beautiful together, definitely one of my favorite couples in every Kdrama i have watched. Ki Jung story was good too, i would like to see more of her relationship with the child but i liked that they made it realistic and didnt make the child magically accept her. Chang Hee story was the least favorite for me, i think maybe i couldnt really connect with him after all.

The end was quite disappointing for me, i wanted more, but it wasnt bad, i think it was a little anticlimactic but at least we have an open ending so i can imagine all of them found liberation (and there is room for season 2 too, i would love to see more of them). * i was really afraid that something bad would happen at the end especially to Mrs Gu bad i am glad everyone was okay (everyone exept from one -cry-)

Anyway i can write a whole book about this drama and how much it touched my heart but i will just say that it a beautiful journey with great messages that i will cherish for life. I highly recommend this one.

BEST ROM-COM KDRAMA OUT THERE.

What can i say about this drama? its just amazing.
The storyline is very interesting itself but the characters are a whole other kinda of interesting. I love when a drama has both good story and good characters and this one is just chefs kiss.
The comedy in this drama is out of this world (rachel and samantha) and the way especially the main female lead plays just make everything like 100% more funny, she is amazing and i am so sad i have been sleeping on her all this time, the rest of the cast is very talented too, either we talking about sad , romantic or comic scenes. I am very impressed by everyone and i will for sure follow their next projects. I was already an huge fan of Kang Min Gue (Snowdrop/Backstreet Rookie) but in this drama he got the recognition he deserves.
The chemistry the couples have is unreal, actually not only the couples but the four main characters with each other (you can see that from their interviews, the way they interact all together). I believe that both couples did great, their storyline didnt tired me not even once and this is rare, i usually prefer one couple (when we have multiple ones) but here i just couldnt, both were excellent. The story isnt drag at all, it had the right amount of misunderstandings, something quite rare when it comes in rom-com kdramas (they usually drag everything so much).
I really believe that this is going to be one of my favorites rom-com ever! It has everything that a good kdrama in this genre needs: comedy, emotions and of course romance. (Steamy romance too, super rare in kdramas)

If you are looking for a fun and romantic Kdrama that it wont tired you THIS IS THE ONE.

A BEAUTIFUL STORY WITH A GREAT MESSAGE!

A very beautiful story with so much depth. This drama is very important for me, it has so many messages but i think the most important one is that you cant judge a person if you dont know him and his story. The more i watched the more i loved not only the plot but also the characters, i adored most of them either if they were good from the start or if the became good at the end. What amazed me was the amount of plot twists this drama had, like almost each episode something crazy happened and i was speechless. This drama had so many powerful scenes, i cried a lot watching it but at the end i had a sweet taste even if the last episode was hard to finish, it broke my heart but also fixed it somehow. It had the right amount of comedy and mystery too.

The characters were all so well written and with many layers that was so fun to get to know more of them, Their stories really broke my heart, most of them had a very sad backstory we got to watch, it was so beautiful. Kyeo Re was an exeptional character, even if he was so cold at first, he became such a softy, they did a great job with him, he is very real and likable. His relationship with Yeon Joo was so sweet and i like how they gave them time and didnt rash anything, her character in general was a very good one. Tae Shik character was a very heartbreaking one, i loved him, everyone in Genie team were great people, but he was the most caring and helpful, i am so happy he got all this people and found a new family. The entire genie team was like a big family, all of them were so sweet. Joon Kyung was so annoying at first but she became one of the best characters, by the end i can tell she was probably the most interesting character. Her relationship with Seok Joon confused me so much, i kinda ship them at first but after i realized their backround i just wanted them to be a happy family, this two had the best character development i loved them. Also i love that Joon Kyung kinda became the little sister for everyone, even for Yeon Joo, i imagine all of them eating together as a family.

The end was so beautiful, that is why i say that even if it had a sad feeling, it left me with a sweet taste! I could actually see them making a second season, with more stories, the last scene proved that they could make a season 2 etc.

Overall, its a great drama and i have to say a must watch for me,

THEY SHOULD HAD RELEASE THE ORIGINAL

A drama that had great potentionals but was ruined for literally stupid reasons. The fact they cut so many scenes and they create so many plot holes just doesnt make sense to me, i mean i get that some scenes sometimes have to be removed so the length of each episodes is "correct" , but here they just vanished two whole episodes, they left very important information out and they created plot holes, WITHOUT A REASON.

The storyline is very interesting, how can a small lie effect everything in you life. I am not a huge fan of poor girl tries everything to become rich, but here i actually enjoyed the plotline. The characters were very interesting, but due to the problem with the cut scenes, some of the backstories werent accurate at this version, and its sad to watch characters like that being wasted. The acting was very good, Suzy didnt disappoint once again, actually all cast was good.

I dont have much to say, unfortunately this drama was ruined for me. While watching the 6 episode version I wasnt very happy about the final product and then it was announced that this drama was meant to have 8 episodes and i realized why i wasnt satisfied, but still having watched the first version, i wasnt very interested to watch the full length after.
Anyway do yourself a favor and forget this version exist, go watch the full length instead, i wish i had watched that first too.

THOUGHT IT WOULD BE A LIGHT SPORT ROM COM, FUN FACT IT WAS NOT JUST THAT.

The amount of times my heart broke watching this, were way to many. I really thought it was a light rom com about two people who played badmition together and fall in love, but its actually about two really broken people who just hold on to each other while playing badmiton and fall in love.

The storyline is very interesting in general, but i think they drag it a bit, they could resolve the whole accident thing in less episodes, i get that it was not just an accident because she lost something she loved but i think they gave Tae Yang way to much hate, she didnt do it on purpose and Jun Young isnt a child that was force to do anything. They really made me believe that the whole accident thing was 10 times worst at first, the way Tae Yang hated herself and the way Jung Hwan treated her seemed like she killed someone. The love story between the Park Twins was so cute, like they way Tae Joon loved her and tried so hard to be with her, even if everyone was against him, made my heart flutter. Their entire relationship was so well played. The first couple of episodes were really light, full of comedy and romance but after a while the drama turn into a melodrama, the Park Twins became the depressing twins that always cried, especially Tae Yang, it was quite tiring to watch for 5 episodes maybe even more a person cry and beg for something that wasnt even her entire fault. Also with all this dramatic moments there was like zero time to watch them play badmition, i hope they had include more of their matches in the drama.

The characters were well written and very interesting. Park Tae Joon stole my heart, the way he was so cute and caring all the time was so beautiful, he only gave love when love had barely been given to him, his parents pissed me of so much, the way they treated him like he was less, i really believe that Tae Yang gave him the love he never got from this family and that is way he always wanted to choose her even when she pushed him away. Park Tae Yang had so much trauma in her life, she blamed herself and let everyone treat her horribly, thinking that this way she could redeem her self, all the times she cried and begged for forgiveness made me mad, she really deserved better, thank God she got a guy like Tae Joon who always had her back. All characters were great, the teamplayers and the coaches, they all gave so much in this drama.

I loved the main couple like i said before, i was not a big fan of the second lead couple, i guess i just couldnt like the girl, Jung Hwan was so annoying at first but after a while he was one of the best characters, i loved his relationship with Tae Joon, their interactions gave me life, also the way he rebulit his relationship with Tae Yang was great as well. I really liked the other couples between the Yunis too.

Overall, its a good drama to watch, with great romance and some good comedy scenes, but i should warn you is deeper then it looks and the characters have a lot of trauma.

NOT VERY IMPRESSED! EXPECTED MORE

I have quite a few issues with this drama! It’s not a bad drama, it had some good potentials but I think they did it wrong. The storyline as an idea is good and interesting but after a while it just gets tiring. The whole plot where he comes back and he just build himself strong so he can take Cho Tae Seob down started well but the end was so anticlimactic and just rushed up. He exposed himself without a reason without having a real plan, I get that he had to make mistakes so it’s more realistic but the fact he just destroy his cover so easily was just plain stupid. Each episode had the same plot, he goes after someone that helps Tae Seob and tries to take him down by been a prosecutor and at first its fun to watch how we tricks them but after a while he just repeat his previous actions.

I had a problem with the main character, I just couldn’t like him that much, he is a good guy and he is played by Lee Joon Gi so you could bet he will be amazing, but he just isn’t for me, I liked him at episode one to five but after that he just bored me. Same with the main female lead Kim Hee Ah, I found her so boring, she was just not well written as characters for the drama.
The characters that stole the show were definitely Min Soo and Han Mi. They were so interesting not only their storylines but their personalities too, Min Soo was the funniest guy and the most mysterious too, great combination.Han Mi was just a badass, I think she was more of a main female lead then Hee Ah . Also Gyu Ri and Sang Man were very good too, actually all the side characters were just excellent.

The romantic storyline was just A BIG NO. It literally didn’t make any sense, I would rather if they just didn’t include any romantic relationship, it was useless and out of the blue.there is only one romantic relationship I liked and that is the possibility of Min Soo and Gyu Ri (the last scene where he pointed out they had match outfits made me think they probably ended up together.)

I think I may be a little biased about this drama. The first time I watched Lee Joon Gi in a drama it was in Lawless Lawyer, that has similar concept, he was a funny yet badass character and here he didn’t gave me the same vibe. Also the main villain was better in general and the female lead was just amazing (their chemistry was top tier too). So after this drama, Again My Life seemed to lack many factors to be a great drama.

Overall it’s an okay drama but nothing special.

WHAT A JOURNEY! THIS DRAMA WILL ALWAYS BE IN MY HEART!

This is one of the best kdrama i have ever watched! They are not enough words to describe this drama, it is just amazing!
I wasnt sure about it when i watched the trailer but after episode one, the drama won me over!
Everything about it its just so real and painful but in a very beautiful way, if you watch it you will understand what i am talking about.
The storyline was so powerful and there was not even one episode that i didnt like, i loved them all and all of them teach me some very meaningful messenges.
This drama talked about very serious matters with a very respectful way and they didnt try to make them look nice, which is very important, some things are just bad and they have nothing nice on them! It had a variety of issues that each episode portrait, for example eating disorders (anorexia), bullying, death, war, rape, mental health issues etc and the most important suicide.
The drama is based on suicide (so please be careful and watch the trigger warnings to make sure you are safe).
Aside of great plot, it had great characters as well. Characters with depth and development, that made you fell in love with them. Each of them (even the side ones) had their own backstory that you got to explore, heartbreaking stories that reminds us that everyone has problems and things they suffer from (always be kind). All the characters were so different but somehow they just create amazing bonds, the chemistry they all had with each other was impressing.
It had a love story too, a very painful yet healing story, that describe what love means and how sometimes in the end you cant fix every crack on a broken glass but you can still try ( i am glad they let an open end to them, i would like to think that they end up together eventually).
The acting was great too, i had some fears for Rowoon, cause i am not a big fan of his previous jobs (his acting in them) but i was happy to be surpriced, he did an exeptional job here. All of them did a great job.
The drama can easily have a second season! And i would love to watch it. I think i am not ready to say goodbye yet!

Overall, i think this is an unbelievable good story that everyone should watch (please like i already said, mind the triggers, because there are a lot of them). It is a very hard and real drama but at the same time so beautiful and healing!

I highly recommented!

NOT BAD/ NO GOOD JUST OKAY

I started this kdrama because i wanted to watch something fluffy with not much of a plot, so i could relax, and this drama is actually good if you want to just spend your time.
It doesnt have an extraordinary plot, its quite basic and the characters arent the most interesting you can find (exept from one or two) but its okay. Its fun to watch and i believe that if you are a collage student you going to learn a few things from this.
I loved that almost every episode had a special question/subject that the characters gave advices, i think it was the best part of the drama! Also VERY IMPORTANT the way they handle the first time, i loved how they built it up (especially when almost none of the other Kdramas i have watched even mention it.)
The main couple didnt manage to make me like them that much (i adore the main actress, but i just could like the main actor) what kept me going actually was the second lead couple, the friends to strangers to lovers just made me so excited to watch more.
I would have liked if other characters than the four main had more storytime, this two characters we see as support cast in this page had like 3 or 4 scenes, i wanted more!

An okay drama, with some important messages!

MIN JAE (THE 'REAL' ONE ) WAS THE REASON I FINISHED IT

It had a very interesting story and had the right amount of mystery in it, but in the end i think they rush to wrap it up so in the last two episodes everything happened so fast and we didnt get an proper explanation for some things. The characters were pretty good but i think that the side one shine more, they had more complicated storylines that keeped you watching. I am not a big fan of the main Min Jae (the introvert one), but i did enjoy her storyline with the main male lead and of course i adored the friendship between her and the other Min Jae, probably that friendship is the reason i gave 8.5 rating, at some points i thought that the other Min Jae had a crush on introvert Min Jae but that wasnt the case. I was in general really confused with the characters relatioships. At first i thought that both males liked introvert Min Jae, but the second male lead never liked her, and then i thought that he liked the other Min Jae but it wasnt confirmed (but i do believe that their last scene where he made fun of her height meant something).
Very important to say that the storyline of Min Jae (the other) is it was so needed, not only because it made her the best character but because this topics are extremly important and people dont talk enough about them.
In general it wasnt a bad drama, but some things were executed poorly
An okay drama to watch.
