How to Win at Checkers (Every Time} was a great coming of age movie about two brothers just trying to get by. Oat is a young boy who looks up to his older brother Ek. In the movie we see how Ek deals with his relationship with his boyfriend, his struggle to financially support his brother and himself through the perspective of Oat.
I really had no prior knowledge about the draft lottery in Thailand so it was very interesting to see how the two brothers dealt with that. We get to see how Oat develops into more mature person throughout the movie. The relationship between the brothers is heartwarming. The scenes when they're together make you feel so sentimental.

Goong S just wasn't for be. It's like the male version of Goong, but it just doesn't have the same charm. I loved the way the drama looks in terms of cinematography and production design, but the story wasn't all that special. I felt that the plot and chemistry between the cast was weak. For me it was interesting at first, but then it started to drag from middle to end. Goong S does not live up to the original and its not for everyone.

This is the second installment to the Always: Sunset on Third Street. Overall I think it was great sequel because it kept everything we loved in the first movie and further developed each character's story line. The cinematography was beautiful, the whole cast is amazing, and I would definitely give this movie a solid thumbs up.
