I don't mind the historical inaccuracies since this is historical friction but the inaccuracies in warfare is just ridiculous. Ming was known for its cannon and the muskets used were all wrong. The battle scenes where Ming soldiers were stationed outside the wall is ridiculous. What is the point of having a city wall where soldiers do not use it as protection. Looks like this director is uneducated or just plain ignorant. The story dragged on too long and getting to boring. The medical scenes started to be diluted with ridiculous unrelated stories.
